Great to see that is creating a second climate positive spirit! This time, Vodka.

Strong statement here, we should try and make our spirits climate negative.

The more consumers demand reduced or bio packaging the better.

There is some really great steps being taken by the industry about sustainable packaging but it will take some time before its fully with us and normal.

Saw a post the other day where potatoes were individually wrapped in plastic in a supermarket in USA, what a joke! 🤦🏾‍♂️

This trial will test how consumers respond to this type of packaging. Let’s see!

The prototype is made of 57% FSC sustainably sourced paper and 43% completely recycled plastic..

Thoughts on this?

We need a bio plastic but we just aren’t there yet in terms of innovation as an industry. It will come though!

Good! As consumers we need to understand how the farmers are treated in the production of the products we buy.

The more consumers are aware/educated on the issues the industry faces with ethics the more drinks companies will be forced to make absolutely certain that the people they employ at source are paid fairly and treated well!

Look out for certified companies if you want to research what ethical companies look like!

P.s if a company isn’t b corp certified that doesn’t automatically mean they aren’t ethical! A lot of companies are working hard to get to that certification!

Was surprised how high this percentage is!

Seems like breweries such as BrewDog with their going carbon neutral and into carbon negative and Arbikie distillery with their carbon negative gin and vodka are likely to be joined by other manufacturers in the near future! Would be so happy to see that!

is a woman led organic certified winery 🤗.

Loving the honest and down to earth nature to these people and their business.

They use a draft horse and human powered field work to make their wine because they are committed to being “hands on”.

Currently Brewdog is working to make all breweries carbon neutral over next two years. They will also put £30m in green investments.
