Sebastien Simon, born in les sables d'olonne and local Hero finishes 3rd in the 2024 Vendeeglobe. What an epic reception by his home-town. Simon finished the race with only one foil, and managed to win the brand new 24 hour distance record on a single handed IMOCA.

Another 24 hours have passed in the Vendeeglobe 2024 around the world sailing/foiling race. And the last 24 hours were extra special because it was the last of 24 and first of 2025! Happy NY wolves. Today Seawolves TV gets hijacked by one of the skippers, and while all the sailors in the race seem to have passed into the NY unscathed, Jeancarlo Pedote ran into some serious trouble, first with one of his rudders, and then with his engine! Meanwhile Jean is keeping up the pace, while Sebatian Simon is feeling the hot breath of Ruyant in his back!

So many interesting lead changes in the Vendeeglobe 2024 around the world foiling/sailing race. With Yoann again taking the lead from Charlie Dalin, Boris the Hermanator managing to overtake Yannick Bestaven, and more in the back, Jean Le cam surprisingly taking back 18th place ehade of Alan Rora. Also updates by Conrad Coleman, Sam Goodchild and Clarisse!

Another 24 hours have flown by in the Vendeeglobe 2024 around the world sailing/foiling race. And allthough the weather has been a little better. Conrad coleman still managed to stir up a storm with his latest highly controversial comments onboard, as he is passing Australia! Will he actually be able to pass through after this? Meanwhile Charlie is proving to be a hard man to chase, as he's slowly but certainly fighting out a small lead again on Yoann who is finding it hard to keep up with the French sailing god!

Another 24 hours have passed in the Vendeeglone 2024 around the world sailing/foiling race. And we have a new nr 2! Yoann Richome managed to utilize the flatter seas and lower wind to hit optimal speeds and moved himself passed Sebastien Simon, who's dealing with losing a foil. Even though Simon is fighting like a Lion, Yoann is new and intact boat was flying a good 4 knots faster over the last 15 hours. Meanwhile Damien Seguin quite seriously injured himself when one of his chainplates was ripped from the hull during the nightsail in gusts up to 60 knots. In a whild scramble to plug the hole in his hull, he lost his footing! And what is up with possible aliens hitting the US cost?
