We were delighted to host this year’s Dinner & Dialogue together with the Ivy Circle Advisory Board and Board, joined by the US Consul General and our new Advisory Board member Lindsey Rothenberg, who shared her thoughtful insights on current affairs and America 250. Advisory Board Chairman Willem Stevens also took the opportunity to share reflections from his recently released book on his 60 years of leadership of the European Harvard Law School alumni organization.

As always, the evening was a wonderful opportunity for the Ivy Circle community to come together, exchange ideas, and celebrate the bonds of shared background, interests, and friendship. Thank you to all who attended for making it such a memorable evening!

The Ivy Circle Netherlands and the Princeton Alumni Association Netherlands brought together a remarkable group of people for a timely and candid conversation on the future of Transatlantic Relations.

For 80 years, the Transatlantic Alliance has been a cornerstone of peace, stability, and shared prosperity. The trust, common values, and cooperation across security, economics, and democratic principles were things we largely took for granted. But in the last 18 months, that world suddenly feels much more fragile.

Is the thread holding, or fraying? And what does the answer mean, for better or for worse?

We do not have easy answers, but we came away from the conversation more informed, more connected, and more committed to the conversation.

A heartfelt thank you to our fantastic guest speaker and Princeton alumnus, Douglas Jones, and moderator, Ivy Circle Chair Hollis Kurman, for guiding us through the complexity with such clarity. And to everyone who joined us at , the quality of the room made the evening, with a lengthy interactive session at the end of the talk!

This week Ivy Circle members got to meet with UChicago students visiting Amsterdam for an ‘AI in Practice’ course. Several Chicago Booth alumni showed up, along with US Consul General Lindsey Rothenberg, to mingle with the students.

Thanks to all the alumni who showed up, engaged with the students, fielded their questions, and made such positive connections with the students — many of whom have already followed up with alumni for career advice!
