A few weeks after HCIM 2026, our Organising Committee gathered one last time to reflect on this special Swiss edition. 🇨🇭
Just as colourful sticky notes accompanied us through the early stages of shaping the vision, defining the theme, designing the programme and bringing ideas to life, they were once again at the centre of our discussions today.
As we looked back on the past days, one thing became clear: the enthusiasm of the participants, the diversity of perspectives, the richness of the encounters and the unique atmosphere made a lasting impression on all of us.

Last week, the Theodora Foundation had the honour of hosting The Healthcare Clowning International Meeting 2026! 🫧
684 participants from around the world — hospital clowns, healthcare professionals and researchers — came together with a shared mission: shaping the future of healthcare together. 🌍
142 organisations from 46 countries joined forces to create a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere, sparking experimentation, deep reflection and exchanges at the heart of artistic creativity. It encouraged exchanges that enriched our artistic and professional practices. 🌟🤝
HCIM 2026 demonstrated that healthcare clowning is much more than laughter; it is a vibrant expression of care, creativity and human connection.
