🚨 OFFICIAL COMPLAINT - DR IDRIS MUHAMMAD | Jama'atu School of Health Tech, Zaria | 18 Aug 2026 - CALL FOR VERIFICATION
On 18 August 2026, information reached final year students of Jama'atu School of Health Technology, Kofar Kibo, Zaria that some individuals who claimed to be affiliated with Civil Defence visited, stating that the school will be closed, without presenting a clear official letter from Kaduna State Government or Ministry of Health.
The students' final qualifying board examination is scheduled to start tomorrow, 19 August 2026, after years of study. This has caused fear, anxiety and confusion. As a health professional, I am concerned about the psychological impact of examination stress combined with fear of closure on students' mental health and performance.
I respectfully call on His Excellency Governor Uba Sani, Kaduna State Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, and the Kaduna State Command of NSCDC to urgently verify the authenticity of this alleged closure order. If there is a genuine compliance issue, we request due process with official documentation. If not, we request protection for the school to allow students to write their final exams peacefully.
This is a good-faith request for verification in the interest of education and student welfare.
