Hello, it's been a while here. I realized that the world has already evolved into a virtual space and as such, the death of physical space is on the way.
Between the 18th and 20th of July, 2024, I had the privilege to facilitate the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) session for our 400level students ahead of the THAP 420 Advanced Development Communication field work.
it was an engaging moment as we take them through the process of deploying the PLA tools and the Theatre for Development Methodology for Community Development.

In dense parable, he interprets:

Creation is never fabrication
He who relates to his in-law in alien language
Must bear the burden of explanation
Adigun take heed!
For the mouth is enough as sacrifice.

I can see the radiant beam of beauty
Singing through your glowy eyes
It sings of life…of love and affection
Your thick hidden hair imagined
glitters like a black gold
Replica of Mother Africa
Your black painted lovely lips
complements your beauty
And your eyes darts fire of affection
At the sight of your image, jewel,
I fell in love with you
May I be your host today?
On my knee I pray thee!

LAMENT FROM THE NORTH

Tonight is a night of thought
Bewitched with a hectic cold
The moon flee from the sky
The stars, apparently scarce

The birds quiver in their earnest nest
The termites file on a debut doom
Insensitive to the harshy cold
Even men feel the weather.

Harsh harmattan rented my marrow
Hands and legs stiffen like cadavers'
Insensitive to the mourner’s plight
Deprived of a lofty warmth

Three sweaters at a time !
It held me yet, more captive
Shivering like an epileptic victim
Oh I'm loosening out like a helpless chick.
