The Provost of the College of Nursing Science Yola, in a recent interview, expressed gratitude to the North East Development Commission (NEDC) for their efforts in addressing the institution's water supply challenges. This development is expected to significantly improve the learning environment for students.

However, the Provost highlighted the need for further support in three critical areas:

1. *Power/Electricity Supply*: A reliable energy source is crucial for academic and administrative activities. Inadequate power supply can hinder the institution's progress and impact research, teaching, and learning.
2. *E-Library*: Access to digital resources is vital for nursing education. An e-library would provide students and staff with up-to-date information, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
3. *1.5km Road Network*: Improved infrastructure is necessary for connectivity and accessibility within the campus. This would facilitate movement and transportation, benefiting students, staff, and visitors.

The Provost's appeal underscores the institution's commitment to providing quality education and training for nursing professionals. Addressing these needs would significantly enhance the College's development and student experience.

*Recommendations*:

- The NEDC and other stakeholders should consider supporting the College's power, e-library, and infrastructure projects.
- Partnerships with organizations and institutions could help establish an e-library and improve infrastructure.
- The College should explore alternative energy sources, such as solar power, to supplement its energy needs.

By addressing these challenges, the College of Nursing Science Yola can continue to produce skilled nursing professionals, contributing to Nigeria's healthcare sector
