Years ago, two Christian sisters rushed into my house like breaking-news reporters. I welcomed them with joy, not knowing they came with a full gossip package and complementary heartbreak.
They said my best friend had been running my name through the mud like a CELEBRITY scandal. And they didnโt forget to add extra pepperโฆ including what she said about my pregnancy.
As they were talking, I noticed they kept looking at my face, waiting for tears, anger, or a small preview of fire and brimstone.
But I gave them peace.
And confusion.
And silence.
They left, looking like their mission failed. But let me confessโฆ inside me was hot. I was boiling like a fresh yam on a gas cooker. I paced the room like a security guard on night duty. Sleep packed its bags and left.
But one thing saved meโฆ prayer.
Not petty, โHoly Ghost fireโ prayer.
Healing prayer.
I prayed until the bitterness lost strength. I prayed until peace returned like an unexpected visitor. And when I finally went to see her, I spoke calmly. No rage. No tears. No Bible verse threats.
She apologised.
I forgave.
But I didnโt forget the lesson.
Forgiveness doesnโt mean handing your heart back to the person who dropped it earlier.
Hereโs what I learned:
โข Handle issues maturely
โข Donโt be the loudspeaker for the enemy
โข Donโt scatter what God is trying to build
โข And pleaseโฆ stop betraying good people
Victory isnโt winning the argument.
Victory is protecting your peace.

SUNDAY TONIC
I have often wondered why people get offended over trivia issues. I have to address this to help a lot of Church people.
๐ The Ministry of Offense
Some people are missing their miraclesโnot because God isnโt willing, but because they are too easily offended.
๐ Mark 6:1โ6
Even in His hometown, Jesus couldnโt do many miraclesโbecause they got too familiar and offended.
Unbelief shut the door to their blessing.
Today, itโs still happening.
People get offended at pastors and ministers over little things:
How they dress ๐
How they speak ๐ค
Where they come from ๐
Even their grammar! ๐
Instead of receiving healing, they go home the same.
Why?
Because offense blocks the flow of the Spirit.
Familiarity breeds dishonor. Dishonor blocks miracles.
Bitterness opens the door to spiritual attacks.
Some are sick, stuck, or spiritually dryโnot because of the devil, but because theyโre holding offense.
๐ Hebrews 12:15
โWatch out that no bitter root grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.โ
Let it go.
Overlook the offense.
Pray instead of criticize.
Honor instead of despise.
๐ Proverbs 19:11โ โIt is to oneโs glory to overlook an offense.โ
When you honor the vessel, you receive the blessing.
๐ Matthew 10:41
โWhoever receives a prophetโฆ receives a prophetโs reward.โ
Choose healing.
Choose growth.
Choose honor.
Donโt let offense rob you.
Pray for a heart free from pride and full of grace.
Leave this ministry of Offense and move on to the ministry of Christ. Be like Jesus Christ in all ramifications in Jesus name.
๐๏ธ Be blessed, healed, and lifted in Jesusโ name. Amen.

Self-editing is an essential step in the writing process. It helps you refine your ideas, clarify your message, and perfect your tone. Here are five simple ways to self-edit your writing:
๐ป๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐
Before you start editing, take a break from your writing. This will help you clear your mind and approach your work with fresh eyes. When you return to your writing, you'll be more likely to catch errors and inconsistencies.
๐น๐๐๐
๐จ๐๐๐๐
Reading your writing aloud is a great way to catch awkward phrasing, unclear sentences, and grammatical errors. As you read, pay attention to how your words sound together. Make adjustments as needed to improve the flow and clarity of your writing.
๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Consistency is key to good writing. Check your work for consistent:
- Verb tense
- Point of view
- Tone
- Style
Make sure your writing is consistent throughout. If you're writing a formal piece, avoid using informal language. If you're writing a humorous piece, keep the tone light and playful.
๐ช๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Good writing is concise writing. Cut any words or phrases that aren't essential to your message. Look for:
- Unnecessary adverbs
- Overused phrases
- Repetitive language
By cutting the clutter, you'll make your writing more efficient and effective.
๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Finally, get a second opinion on your writing. Ask a friend or fellow writer to review your work and provide feedback. This will help you catch any errors or inconsistencies you may have missed.
By following these five simple steps, you'll be able to self-edit your writing like a pro. Remember to take your time, be patient, and keep practising. Happy writing!

THE POWER OF WORDS
Beauty's world crumbled when she lost her parents at 18. Suddenly, she was alone, navigating the complexities of adulthood without a safety net. But amidst the grief and uncertainty, she discovered a lifeline โ writing.
As a child, Beauty had always been fascinated by words. She spent hours scribbling in her journal, weaving tales of adventure and romance. Now, she poured her emotions onto the page, finding solace in the rhythm of sentences and the power of storytelling.
Freelance writing became her escape, her passion, and her ticket to survival. She wrote articles, blog posts, and website content for clients, using her words to earn a living and fund her university education.
The days were long, and the work was gruelling, but Beauty persevered. She juggled classes, writing gigs, and deadlines, driven by her determination to succeed. Slowly but surely, her hard work paid off.
Beauty's writing improved, her portfolio grew, and her confidence soared. She landed bigger clients, earned better pay, and started to see a future beyond her current struggles.
As she walked across the university stage, degree in hand, Beauty knew that her parents would have been proud. She had done it โ she had found a way to thrive, despite the odds.
Beauty's story is a testament to the power of words. In the darkest moments, writing became her beacon of hope, her tool for survival, and her path to success. She proved that with determination, resilience, and a passion for writing, even the most daunting challenges can be overcome.
I hope this story captures the essence of Beauty's journey and inspires others to find their power in writing.

Have you ever thought about the impact your story could have on others? The struggles you've faced, the triumphs you've achieved, and the lessons you've learned along the way are all unique and valuable experiences that can inspire, motivate, and connect with others.
But often, we keep our stories hidden, afraid to share them with the world. We may feel vulnerable, uncertain, or unworthy. But the truth is, your story is worth sharing. It's a testament to your strength, resilience, and humanity.
That's why I'm challenging you to write your story. Take a few moments to reflect on your journey, and put your thoughts and feelings into words. Don't worry about grammar, spelling, or perfection. Just let your story flow.
As you write, consider the following questions:
โขWhat challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?
โขWhat triumphs have you achieved, and what did you learn from them?
โขWhat lessons have you learned along the way, and how have they shaped you?
โขWhat message do you want to share with others through your story?
Your story has the power to inspire, motivate, and connect with others. It's a reminder that we're not alone in our struggles and triumphs and that our experiences can be a source of strength and hope for others.
So, take the challenge and write your story. Share it with a friend, family member, or online community. You never know the impact it could have on someone's life.
The world needs your story.
We can help you package it into a book for millions to read.
Write your story!
Your world is waiting for you.
