PUBLIC NOTICE!!

The ELEBELE EDUCATION COMMITTEE is please to inform the general public of their forthcoming 2nd editon of the ELEBELE EDUCATION SUMMIT 2026. This year's edition is promising to be more informative, educating and insightful.

The program will be bringing together policy makers in education, educators, students, traditional rulers, community leader, partners and the general public.

Interesting topics will be discussed raging from Tech, skills, AI, education, entrepreneurship trainings through career talk shows and pannel descussions. Official date will be annouced soon.

On a significant and forward-looking occasion, the Rector of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training, Dr. Zuobomudor Edwin Agbana, alongside his management team, warmly received members of the Elebele Education Committee led by its Chairman, Reuben John A. Imo. The visit marked a renewed commitment to strengthening educational development and vocational advancement within the community.

Speaking unbehalf of the delegation from the Elebele Education Committee Hon. Ogbarisi Peter Nadema, Secretary of the Elebele Education Committee expressed their appreciation for the Institute’s continued dedication to equipping youths with practical skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and technical expertise essential for self-reliance and sustainable economic growth. The Chairman, Reuben John A. Imo commended the Rector and his team for their visionary leadership and for creating opportunities that empower young people to become productive contributors to society. Also among the delegation is the Secretary of the Community Development Committee (CDC) Mr. Pere Brave Sunday and other members of the CDC.

In his remarks, Dr. Zuobomudor Edwin Agbana highlighted the Institute’s mission to foster innovation, creativity, and skill acquisition through quality vocational and entrepreneurial training. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and community stakeholders in achieving meaningful and lasting impact. The Rector further assured the committee of the Institute’s readiness to partner on initiatives that would enhance access to training programs and expand opportunities for students from Elebele and its environs.

Discussions during the visit focused on potential areas of collaboration, including scholarship opportunities, community-based training programs, infrastructure support, and the introduction of specialized vocational courses tailored to local needs.

The Elebele Education Committee and the Office of Miss. Elebele paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Gabriel Michael Ogbara, at his residence in Yenagoa.

The visit was part of the committee's efforts to engage with key stakeholders ahead of the upcoming Free Teenagers Skill Acquisition Training/Elebele Education Summit and Meritorious Awards 2025.

The Secretary of the Elebele Education committee who also doubled as the spokes man of the Organizing team Hon. Ogbarisi Peter Nadema briefed Hon. Chief Ogbara on the objectives, scope, and expected outcomes of the Free Teenagers Skill Acquisition Training /Elebele Education Summit and Meritorious Awards 2025.

The Chief Whip expressed his support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of education and skill development in empowering the youth of Bayelsa State. He pledged to leverage his position to ensure the success of the project. He also used the medium to advice the organizing team to do a proper orientation with the trainees to let them see the importance of the the skills they are to acquire.

The courtesy visit marked a significant step in building partnerships and securing support for the Free Teenagers Skill Acquisition Training/Elebele Education Summit and Meritorious Awards 2025. The Elebele Education Committee and the Office of Miss. Elebele look forward to working with Hon. Chief Gabriel Michael Ogbara and other stakeholders to make the event a success.

Miss. Elebele, HM. Queen Afuga Shola Abaimam alongside the chairman of the Elebele Education committee, Comr. Ruben John A. Imo led the organizing team of the FREE TEENAGERS SKILL ACQUISITION TRAINING/ELEBELE EDUCATION SUMMIT and paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancello of Niger Delta University (NDU) Prof. Allen A, Agih in his office at Willberforce Island, Amassoma Bayelsa State.

Prof. Allen expressed his delight over the purpose of the visit and pledged his unflintching support to the program. Prof. Allen stated that the program is in line with his institution's vision of equipping individuals with relevant skills that will make them self relaince.

The VC, Prof. Allen A. Agih opened the window of partnership with the office of Miss. Elebele and the Elebele Education Committee through the Center for Entreprenurship and the Data Analitics Placement Center, both establishments owned by the University in even subsiquent trainings.
