Inspiring future innovators at Teto Schools, Bayelsa!
We had an amazing time demonstrating robotics for the senior secondary students. They explored how robots are changing medicine, industry, and even sports!
Students got hands-on with sensors and the Arduino Uno, and then they programmed a Quarky and a Toio for a thrilling race to the finish line, controlling them with smartphones.
It was an impressive display of creativity and coding skill.

Our Nibi’s Tech Kids & Teens Community just had an unforgettable two-day virtual experience, connecting our students with REAL world pioneers!
💡 On Friday, Mr Adeoluwa Adediran, a pharmacist, showed us that medicine isn't just about doctors, it's about robotic surgery and using nanotechnology to make drugs for specific genes. He even blew our minds with a VR chemistry practical!
🚁 On Saturday, Programmer and Drone Technologist Mr Ebikekeme Ere, who has been building for over 30 years, took us behind the scenes of drone tech used by major oil companies in Nigeria.
The goal? To show our students that their dreams in tech, science, and engineering are achievable by people just like them.
Thank you so much to our guest mentors for pouring your knowledge into the next generation.

Happy New Month.
Take this new month as another opportunity to begin your tech journey.

Building a robot sounds fancy until you’re on hour three of trying to figure out why a motor isn’t turning!
Our students are currently preparing for the Battle of the Bots in Lagos, and we wanted to share a "behind-the-scenes" look at what it actually takes. It’s not all sleek metal and glowing lights. It’s:
✨ Wood, plastics and tape.
✨ Trial and error.
✨ Wires that don’t always behave.
✨ Pure determination.
At Nibi's Tech, we don't just teach kids how to use tech; we teach them how to create it from whatever they have around them. From schools in Bayelsa to Akwa Ibom and Rivers, we are training the next generation to be problem solvers.
They are still building, still coding, and still pushing through the hard parts.
We can’t wait to show Lagos what our Niger Delta kids are capable of this June!

Did you know that curiosity is the first step in the learning process?
This week:
Be Curious!
Be Inquisitive!!
Be Open to Learn!!!
Today is National AI Literacy Day 🤖
Artificial Intelligence is no longer the future—it is already part of how our children learn, think, and interact with the world.
From helping students understand difficult topics to improving writing and generating ideas, AI can be a powerful tool for learning.
But here’s the truth:
AI should support thinking, not replace it.
If children and teenagers are not guided properly, they may rely on AI to do the work instead of actually learning. And over time, that affects their confidence, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
As parents, educators, and mentors, we must begin to ask:
👉 Are our children using AI responsibly?
👉 Do they understand how to think critically about what AI gives them?
👉 Are they learning… or just copying?
I’ll be sharing another video soon on how students can use AI properly for academic writing and research (especially thesis work), without compromising their learning.
For now, let’s talk 👇
Parents: Do you know if your child is using AI tools?
Students/Teenagers: How are you using AI to support your learning?

Nibi's Tech successfully concludes its first international student exchange program! 🎉🎉🎉
We're proud to facilitate this landmark program, bridging Nigerian students with their global peers and providing an eye opening experience to engage in discussions on culture, environmental issues, and education. This initiative has been a fantastic opportunity for students to collaborate and learn from one another. For this program, we partnered with ZINA Academy and their students were awesome. They discussed culture, environmental issues, education and poverty. They learned a lot from their counterparts and they showed Nigeria to the world.
We look forward to expanding these opportunities.
Schools interested in partnering with us on future student exchange programs can send us a message or a direct email to discuss opportunities.
