If a well-established school offers 40,000 naira, we can’t expect a growing school to match that. They’re still building their foundation. If we demand salaries beyond their means, we risk being left high and dry after putting in our hard work. Accepting a reasonable offer, like 20,000 naira from a growing school, can ensure we receive our full term salary instead of losing out on two months’ pay because they couldn’t meet our demands. Let’s be wise and realistic in our negotiations.
