FOSLA Cheetahs were today beaten 2 nil by Horvel Angels to become Champion of the second edition of HerGame Women Football Tournamentt.

A goal at each half of the game were enough to sink the Cheetahs who had earlier beaten them 2 - 1 in the opening game.

However, Patricia Habila of FOSLA Cheetahs proved a hard - nut - to crack as she dethroned her team mate, Queen Joseph who won the first edition of the most valuable player award.

Dr Pat Ajuma Ayegba Encourages The Youngest Girl In The League

The Chief Executive Officer of HerGame Foundation, Dr Pat Ajuma Ayegba has hailed the youngest footballer in this year's tournament.

The primary school pupil is not just young in age but also in size is highly skillful.

When she was asked which school she is her preferred choice for secondary school, she responded: "I want to go to FOSLA Academy, Karshi so I can play for FOSLA Cheetahs. I have been following them online and will like to go there so I can improve my football skills." She concluded.

In what seems like a stroll - in - the pack, FOSLA Cheetahs walked over ELBA Queens to top Group D in the ongoing North Central HerGame Foundation Football League.

They were awarded three points and three goals.

The match that will determine who tops group D will hold simultaneously by 2 ; 00 pm today when FOSLA Cheetahs will be taking on ELPA Angels while Horvel Queen will take on Ladi Kwali Angels.

FOSLA Cheetahs have already qualified for the second round of the competition and will only be playing for pride this afternoon.

On the other hand, Horvel Angels won their second match against ELPA to earn their first victory of the tournament. They had earlier lost to the team to beat, FOSLA Cheetahs 1 - 2 in the opening match of the tournament.
