Patricia Habila: The Most Valuable Player Of 2025 North Central HerGame Women Football Tournamentt

Queen Joseph Of FOSLA Cheetahs, Karshi emerged the most valuable player of the first edition of this tournament and ended up at the U - 17 national team and subsequently Nigeria's highest goal scorer at the 2025 Under 17 World Cup.

The second edition has produced another marvelous and fantastic player from the same club - FOSLA Cheetahs, in the person of Patricia Habila.

We call on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to invite Patricia Habila to the U - 20 national team immediately as it is obviously obvious that the organiser's sense of judgement with regard to choice of best player is excellent and incontestable.

Following the consistent back - to - back winning of most valuable player by FOSLA team, it is high time the football House look in the direction of FOSLA Academy as a fit nursery to our age - grade national teams.

FOSLA Cheetahs Failed To Retain Trophy As Patricia Habila Wins Most Valuable Player Award

FOSLA Cheetahs were today beaten 2 nil by Horvel Angels to become Champion of the second edition of HerGame Women Football Tournamentt.

A goal at each half of the game were enough to sink the Cheetahs who had earlier beaten them 2 - 1 in the opening game.

However, Patricia Habila of FOSLA Cheetahs proved a hard - nut - to crack as she dethroned her team mate, Queen Joseph who won the first edition of the most valuable player award.

Patricia Habila: The Making Of Another Football Giant

Two years ago, Queen Joseph was not just the revelation of the first edition of HerGame Women Football Tournamentt by winning the most valuable player (MVP) but ended up at the U - 17 World Cup in Morocco where she also scooped Man - of - the - match award in one of the matches and Nigeria's highest goal scorer.

Two years on, Patricia Habila has been showing exceptional skills, winning two man of the match award with four goals to her credit.

She has consistently delivered when it mattered most for her team, FOSLA Cheetahs. Nigeria U - 20 national team coaches, take note.

It took Patricia Habila"s 27th minute goal to get FOSLA Cheetahs into the final of the 2nd edition of North Central HerGame Female football tournament.

The final will be a repeat of the opening game where they took on Horvel Angels which won the first semi final by 2 goals to nil.

The final will hold on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Area 3 football field by 3 : 00 pm.

The Chief Executive Officer of HerGame Foundation, Dr Pat Ajuma Ayegba has hailed the youngest footballer in this year's tournament.

The primary school pupil is not just young in age but also in size is highly skillful.

In what seems like a stroll - in - the pack, FOSLA Cheetahs walked over ELBA Queens to top Group D in the ongoing North Central HerGame Foundation Football League.

FOSLA Cheetahs Vs EUPA Angels

The match that will determine who tops group D will hold simultaneously by 2 ; 00 pm today when FOSLA Cheetahs will be taking on ELPA Angels while Horvel Queen will take on Ladi Kwali Angels.

FOSLA Cheetahs have already qualified for the second round of the competition and will only be playing for pride this afternoon.

On the other hand, Horvel Angels won their second match against ELPA to earn their first victory of the tournament. They had earlier lost to the team to beat, FOSLA Cheetahs 1 - 2 in the opening match of the tournament.

In an interview with Queen Joseph, Captain of FOSLA Cheetahs and Nigeria U - 17 sensational h**p at the last work cup, she said "We are not under rating any team as we will go all out against our opponent today despite our qualification for the second round of the competition. "

The tournament is getting more exciting with stakes getting higher as national and international scouts are secretly watching the games.
