At Esther Grey School, we believe hands-on agricultural learning helps pupils connect with nature and understand the value of food and the environment.

Yesterday, we played really dirty, and both the kids and adults loved every moment of it.
From creating our own manure to tilling the ground and filling each personalised cement bag with rich, loamy soil in preparation for planting, the day was packed with fun, discovery, and hands-on learning.
Every activity sparked curiosity and excitement as we connected with nature in the most meaningful way.
And what better way to wrap up such an exciting day than with some free sand play!
We danced, laughed, and sprinkled a little water đź’¦ to cool off, the perfect ending to a beautiful learning experience.
Dirty hands, happy hearts, and memories made together. 🌿🤎
