Delta State civil servants participated in an autism awareness walk to honor Mr. ROE Bayoko, who retired as the Head of Service, Delta State, after 35 years of meritorious service. The event, organized by the Delta State Ministry of Health, aimed to raise awareness about autism with the theme, 'Autism: Inclusion, Understanding, and Support.' Reflecting on the urgent need for greater autism awareness in Delta State, Dr. Chijioke Nwokolo, emphasizing the theme's three key aspects, advocated strongly for children with autism. He urged the implementation of policies and support networks that could provide hope, promote inclusion, and benefit individuals with autism and their families.

Children are a precious gift from God, and it's our responsibility to set a good example for them. The most powerful lesson we can teach a child is to live a life that honors God, as our actions speak louder than words. When we combine verbal teaching with godly conduct, we create a lasting impact that is twice as effective. By role-modeling a godly life, we leave footprints in the sand for children to follow, providing a clear pattern of righteous behavior for them to emulate. By setting a good example, we become a shining example of godly conduct, helping children to develop a strong moral foundation that will guide them throughout their lives. HAPPY CHILDREN DAY!!!!!!

We thank God for a successful Autism Awareness Seminar as we conclude this year's Autism Awareness Month.
As a Guest Speaker during a four-hour lecture, I discussed the trident; the Parents-Therapist-Teachers collaboration and what each member brings to the table.
April may come and go, but we as a therapeutic center will continue working diligently to unravel this fascinating puzzle. What a fitting way to wrap up this year's awareness month!

We appreciate the Elimbridge management and team of therapists who volunteered for this year FREE clinical assessment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and FREE training for parents in support of their children’s treatment. As we draw the curtain for 2023 World Autism Awareness campaign, we look forward to a more inclusive and diverse society where people cherish their differences and every child is given equal opportunity for the good of the community. Together we can!
