*Subject: POSTPONEMENT OF THE FORCED BREAK FOR THE GUBERNATORIAL/GOVERNORSHIP AND HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS*

*The Director and the Management of *Best International Standard School* in line with the Ministry of Education has also wishes to inform you that, the alleged Forced Break slated for Friday 10th - Thursday 6th March, 2023 has been postponed till March 17th Friday, 2023.*

This is because INEC intend to do a rerun in some polling units and be well prepared for the next election.

*Therefore, our Career Day and Project (STEAM) Work will still be on hold on till further notice from the Ministry of Education.*

JUST IN: INEC postpones gov election by one week
8th March 2023

INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu

The Independent National Electoral Commission has postponed the governorship and state assembly elections scheduled to hold on March 11 by one week.

The elections will now hold on March 18, 2023.

A state Resident Electoral Commissioner who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity confirmed the decision.

MBF calls for INEC chair resignation
The PUNCH had reported that the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, and his commissioners were in a closed-door meeting over the governorship election. The meeting commenced at 7pm on Wednesday.
