The 9th FABAMSSA House of Assembly hereby invites all students of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences to her 9th Plenary Session (Open Plenary Session 9.0) scheduled as follows:

This invitation is extended to all Faculty Executives, Departmental Executives, Class Executives, Senators, Honourable Members across all Sub-Constituencies, and the entire student body of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.

Attendance is highly important as key legislative matters concerning the House, pending motions, bills, budgets, electoral processes, and the general welfare of FABAMSSA students will be deliberated upon.

The FABAMSSA House of Assembly Committee on Information, Media and Publicity is pleased to present this week's Legislator of the Week:
Hon. James Idara Emmanuel, Member representing Asson Constituency, Department of Anatomy (Level 200), and Chairman, Committee on External Affairs.

Hon. Idara has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership, active legislative engagement, and unwavering commitment to advancing the interests of the House and the students he represents. His dedication to service, effective representation, and parliamentary excellence continues to strengthen the legislative arm of our Association.

Hon. Ekanem Medara Godwin, Member representing Asson Constituency, Department of Anatomy (Level 200), who currently serves as the Secretary, Committee on Socials.

CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF MEMORANDA

Dear esteemed Bamssaites,

In a firm commitment of the Bamssa House to live up to their primary responsibility in the area of law making, the 2026 Constitution Review Committee of the Bamssa House of Assembly officially invites all students leaders of the faculty, including, Departments, Parliamentarians, senators, class executives, and religious/fellowship leaders, Royal Councils, professionals and members of the faculty's association, to submit memoranda to further enrich the contents and spirit of our Solidarity Constitution at the ongoing Constitution Review/Amendments.

The Committee aims to gather insightful memoranda from all students' structures to inform the Constitution review process in order to give our faculty a new Constitution.
