Programme & Partnerships Officer:
The Programme & Partnerships Officer will take primary responsibility for supporting the development and coordination of CHICD's programmes, as well as establishing the partnerships and funding relationships necessary to advance them.
Research, Operations & Communications Officer:
The Research, Operations & Communications Officer will take primary responsibility for CHICD's research support, organisational documentation, day-to-day administrative processes and communication activities.
Key Responsibilities of the Programme & Partnerships Officer:
1. Develop programme ideas into concept notes, project plans and implementation activities.
2. Coordinate the implementation of CHICD programmes and community-based activities.
3. Identify potential programme opportunities based on community needs and CHICD's thematic areas.
4. Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, development partners, private-sector organisations and community stakeholders.
5. Identify grant opportunities, calls for proposals and other potential sources of programme funding.
6. Lead and coordinate the preparation of grant proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest and other funding applications, with support from relevant team members.
7. Support the development of project budgets, work plans, timelines and implementation frameworks.
8. Coordinate meetings and engagements with partners and other programme stakeholders.
9. Track programme activities, deliverables and deadlines.
Prepare programme and partnership reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
10. Represent CHICD at programme, community and partnership engagements where required.
Key Responsibilities of the Research, Operations & Communications Officer:
1. Support the design and implementation of research, surveys and community assessments.
2. Prepare research summaries, reports, briefs and other evidence products.
3. Maintain organised records of CHICD's research activities and outputs.
4. Provide research, evidence, statistics and writing support for grant proposals and funding applications.
5. Maintain an organised electronic and physical filing system.
Support logistics for meetings, trainings, field activities and organisational events.
6. Maintain relevant administrative schedules, databases and documentation.
7. Support the management of CHICD's website and social media platforms.
8. Develop clear content about CHICD's activities, research, and impact.
9. Document programmes and events through appropriate written and digital content.
10. Assist with newsletters, reports, briefs and other organisational publications.
11. Maintain an organised archive of photographs, programme stories and communication materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Community Development, Social Sciences or another relevant discipline.
Applicants should demonstrate strong writing, organization and interpersonal skills. Experience in programme coordination, partnership development, proposal writing or the development sector will be an advantage.
