Running a successful School will demand that every school owner pays attention to these three factors
1. standard environment and facilities This will help to attract people because we are moved by what we see
2. Good welfare packages to the staffers. This will boost the morale of teachers and those motivate them to put in their best to ensure the school succeeds
3. Regular training of the workforce.
This helps to formulate strategies and provide them with the skillsets needed to do their job for optimal performance.
📌Whereas most school owners pay attention to the first two and give little attention or completely rule out training of their workforce in their operations. 📌The place of training to the success of any venture cannot be overemphasized. If you desire a productive engagement from your teachers as a school owner for peak performance, then regular training of the workforce must be a priority.
📌It is on this note that we invite proprietors, head teachers, principals, school administrators and every other person involved in the management of the schools to bring all the staff of their schools to one of the biggest Teacher's conferences happening in the city of uyo
📌The conference is divided into two parts; the first session will be a general training workshop for all the teachers and other members of the school community
The general Teacher's conference will focus on the following training modules;
1️⃣Modern Teaching Methods
2️⃣Personality types and how it affects learning
3️⃣Lesson Plan/Note for effective lesson delivery
4️⃣The roles of emotions in learning

6️⃣Effective ways of coaching preschool
7️⃣Enhancing relationship in school
8️⃣How to help learners with academic deficiencies

The reason the assessment result is called a report card is to aid the school in decision making. However, most schools only use it in determining student's performance and not as a tool for future decision. For example, if the performance of students in a particular subject is generally low, it will help the school to know whether the teacher is outrightly incompetent or maybe the methods he deployed in carrying out instructions were not effective and thus help the school to either change the teacher or organise training to upgrade the teachers.
I have always advocated that, it is better for a school to pass a student with a poor result than PAD her result in order to make her pass. When this happens, the school will not know and address the deficiency of the child going forward.
More annoying is the grading system most schools employed in the grading preschool ( preschool are learners between the ages of 0-5). No parent is interested in whether the child has 80 or 100% in social studies or Mathematics. All they care is whether the child can write letters, numbers or can identify letters, numbers or shapes as such your grading system at this age must capture these abilities in clear terms. For example, "the child can identify letters perfectly", "He can write numbers with a little aid from the teacher", "The child has difficulty in identifying colours etc. This will enable the school and the parents alike to know what to do in order to help the child improve other than only allocating score with vague grading system that does not clearly explain the situation.
I know some schools will find it difficult to perform this, but we got you covered. we have developed an automated grading Assessment report for learners in this category. If you are interested, indicate in the comment section.

Why do parents behave as if money is not important to the school operators?
Why do they always think the school must understand with them while they pay for other things?
When did paying an outstanding debt becomes a threat for parents wanting to change schools for their children?
They buy all manner of things for their children without owing, yet they defer on fees payment, negotiate and pay when they want without recuse to the fact that the school needs the fee to do virtually everything in the school. Oh, did I say "Virtually". I am sorry. The truth is that we need the fees to do EVERYTHING in the school.
How else would you describe wickedness, after a parent had owed a school a huge amount of money went ahead to change the child to another school without upsetting the debt in the previous school.
NAPPS, as an umbrella body must communicate to all their member schools to get a fee clearance from the previous school before admission.
Are there schools that do not belong NAPPS? All private schools must belong to NAPPS for proper oversights otherwise blacklisted and communicate same to the ministry.
Alternatively, School owners should endeavour to trace children to their homes. If you observe that a child has stopped coming to school for 2 weeks, call the parent to find out. If no satisfactory response is given by the parent, mount surveillance around the vicinity to ascertain if the child had changed school. Once, it is ascertained, you approach the new school and inform them of your outstanding where the parent is mandated to pay the previous school at a stipulated time agreed by the both parties. If the outstanding is not paid as agreed, the school should be mandated to stop the child from coming to school or face sanction by NAPPS.
THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN A COMMON PROBLEM BEDEVILING MOST SCHOOLS, YET WE DECIDED TO FIGHT IT DIFFERENTLY. UNTIL OUR FIGHT IS COLLECTIVE, THEN PARENTS WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR DISUNITY AND CONTINUALLY EXPLOIT US.

Good morning most esteemed Educator,
communication is a learned skill. One unskilled or inappropriate language from your teacher or any other staff member to a parent or pupil is enough to dent the image of your school
Communication laced with indifference, lethargy, abusive or insultive tone is not healthy for the growth of any organization.
Don't assume, people should know how to communicate, rather everyone should be trained in the art of communication. Remember, we have to be strategic in our approach and not leave things to chance.

Good day dear Educator, how is your day going? I believe God is in control
In most of the schools I consulted for, I observed that the staff always show attitude of indifference to duties. On probing, two things stand out;
1. Poor welfare packages and
2. Lack of training
One proprietor, I visited his school told me that he cannot train people who may not work with him for a long time. I told him "It is better to train a staff and have him leave the following day than keep an untrained staff". An untrained workforce is a like a time bomb. One indifferent attitude from any of your staff member can destroy what took you years to build.
Let me ask you this succinctly, do you have a budget for the training of your workforce? In the 21st, the importance of training cannot be overemphasized
Have a wonderful weekend.
