The International Day of the Boy Child is celebrated annually on May 16th to recognize the importance of boys' well-being and the challenges they face, while also celebrating the positive aspects they bring to their communities and families. This day was first observed in 2018, initiated by Dr. Jerome Teelucksingh of Trinidad and Tobago.
