GENERAL REQUIREMENT

*Applicants should possess the following requirements;

*Bachelor's or higher degree obtained from accredited institutions of higher learning in the said subject areas.

*All applicants must possess 5 O’ Level Credit in not more than two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language.

*Applicants must possess teaching qualifications (years of classroom experience is VERY important).

*Applicants must possess NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

*Applicants must be certified medically fit to work.

Excursion Briefing from Kings' Seed Academy

On Friday 25th October our students embarked on an educational excursion to IBOM Integrated Farm, and IBOM power plant located at Onna and IkotAbasi respectively.

*IBOM INTEGRATED FARM* The primary objective of this visit was to gain practical knowledge and insight into modern farming techniques, agricultural best practices, and the importance of integrated farming systems.

IBOM Integrated Farm is a renowned agricultural establishment that showcases innovative farming methods, combining livestock and crop production to maximize efficiency and sustainability.

During the guided tour, the students observed and learned about various aspects of the farm's operations: *Livestock Management:* The farm's livestock section included pigs, chickens, and fish, demonstrating efficient animal husbandry practices and biosecurity measures.

The excursion to IBOM Integrated Farm was an enriching experience, providing valuable insights into modern agricultural practices and the potential for sustainable farming systems.

*IBOM POWER PLANT*

The visit was aimed at providing the students with practical knowledge and insight into the operations of a power generation facility.

Upon arrival at the power plant, the students were warmly received by the plant's management and staff. The excursion began with a comprehensive presentation on the overview of the plant's operations, capacity, and contributions to the national grid.

The students were then taken on a guided tour of the facility, led by experienced engineers and technicians. They were shown various sections of the plant, including: *Control Room:* The nerve center of the plant where real-time monitoring and control of power generation take place. *Generator Hall:* Where the massive turbines convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.

The students were fascinated by the sheer scale and complexity of the power plant's operations.
