🤔 Why isn't it "gooses" or "mouses"?

Most people think every English plural ends in -s or -es. But English has a surprise!

Goose → Geese
Mouse → Mice
Foot → Feet
Tooth → Teeth

Why? Because these words are older than modern English. Their plurals were formed hundreds of years ago, and history preserved them even after most words started taking -s. So, not every English word follows today's rules—some still follow history.
