Today in our Montessori Section at EOMGS, it was not just another school day — it was a day of life training, character building, and purposeful discovery.

Our children stepped into a world beyond books and pencils. They rolled up their sleeves, picked up their little brooms, and learned the dignity of responsibility. With excitement shining in their eyes, they practiced how to sweep their classrooms neatly, how to clean and arrange their tables properly, and how to keep their environment fresh and welcoming.

But that was just the beginning.

They learned how to dust shelves carefully, arrange their chairs in order, wipe the board gently, organize their school bags, and fold their napkins neatly after snack time. Some practiced washing their plates and cups properly. Others learned how to water plants, showing love and care for nature. A few even practiced how to arrange learning materials back to their correct positions after use — because in Montessori, everything has a place, and every place has a purpose.

It was beautiful to watch.

Tiny hands moving with concentration.
Little feet stepping with confidence.
Young minds understanding responsibility.

These activities may seem simple, but they are powerful. They teach discipline. They build independence. They develop coordination. They nurture focus. Most importantly, they raise children who understand that greatness begins with small, consistent habits.

This afternoon, as the sun gently stretched across the sky and many schools closed their gates for the day, something extraordinary was just beginning at EOMGS Montessori Section.
While others hurried home, our children stayed back — not out of obligation, but out of excitement. The classroom transformed into a workshop of greatness. The atmosphere shifted. The noise of the day faded, and in its place came focus, determination, and the quiet sound of pencils gliding across writing tabs.
It was not just an after-school class.
It was a moment of awakening.
One by one, our children sat upright, their small fingers carefully gripping their writing tabs. At first, there were slow strokes… careful curves… deliberate lines. Then something magical happened. Confidence replaced hesitation. Smiles replaced uncertainty. What began as practice quickly became mastery unfolding before our very eyes.
You could see it in their faces — that spark of realization:
“I can write!”
Every letter formed was a victory.
Every word completed was a triumph.
Every neat line was proof of growth.

The Sensorial and Practical Life Classes at EOMGS Montessori Section were highly engaging, meaningful, and inspiring. Our pupils participated actively in well-planned hands-on activities that helped them learn through real-life experiences.
During the Practical Life sessions, the children practiced important daily skills such as pouring, washing, cleaning, arranging materials, buttoning, tying, sweeping, and personal care routines. These activities helped them to become more independent, confident, and responsible. They also learned how to focus, follow instructions, and complete tasks with care and patience.
In the Sensorial classes, pupils were guided to use their senses to explore and understand their environment. Through activities involving colours, shapes, sizes, sounds, textures, and movement, the children learned how to observe carefully, compare objects, and improve their thinking ability. These exercises helped to strengthen their memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
At EOMGS Montessori Section, every activity is designed to support the total development of the child — mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. Our trained teachers provide a safe, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.
These classes also help our pupils to develop good habits such as cleanliness, orderliness, cooperation, respect, and self-discipline. By learning practical and sensorial skills at an early age, our children are well prepared for higher academic challenges and everyday life.

Today was an exciting and colorful Sports Day in our Montessori section! 🎉 All our children came out proudly dressed in their sports outfits, filling the atmosphere with energy, joy, and enthusiasm.

The day was packed with a variety of fun and engaging sporting activities such as running races, sack races, ball games, relay races, jumping activities, and simple fitness exercises specially designed for their age. Each activity encouraged teamwork, coordination, confidence, and healthy competition.

Laughter, cheers, and smiles filled the air as our little champions actively participated and gave their best. It was truly a memorable day of learning, play, and physical development for our Montessori children.

Many parents have confidently entrusted their children to us through our After-School Care Program, knowing that their wards are in a safe, nurturing, and well-structured environment. Our one-year anniversary was wonderful!!!

The 10th of December 2025, we joyfully celebrated the one-year anniversary of the EOMGS Montessori Section.

It was a beautiful and memorable day, filled with excitement and laughter.
Our children had an amazing time as the celebration was truly overwhelming in the best way — colourful activities, happy faces, and a warm atmosphere that reflected the love and dedication we put into nurturing them. It was indeed a remarkable milestone for our Montessori family.
