Yesterday at our homeschool, we learned about SAFETY 🛑

Our learners discovered that safety means staying away from danger, and we didn’t just stop at talking—we brought learning to life with a fun hands-on activity! It was super duper exciting and helped exercise their little hands too ✋✨

One thing I always emphasize is this: learning is more effective when children practice what they’ve been taught.

In our PSED lesson today, we learned about family—what it means and types.

We explored nuclear and extended families, then expressed their understanding through drawing.

It was amazing to see a 3-year-old confidently draw and identify family members! 👏

Activities like drawing are powerful—they help develop fine motor skills, improve grip, build focus, and prepare children for writing.

In teaching a toddler or a preschooler drawing it's easier to use shapes and patterns. Like circle ⭕, curve ), dash _ and a stroke |.

Also engaging your learners with simple, hands-on activities like this, makes learning becomes real, fun, and impactful! 💛

We practiced “number before,” “number after,” and filling in the missing numbers today — and yes, it can be a bit confusing at first 😊

But with consistent practice, learners begin to grow in confidence and understanding!
