Welcome to a Productive Month of March đ

Today is the 1st of March.
And we all excited about the progression.
2026 is really moving fast. This raises some concerns while I was accounting for my to-do yesterday the 28 of February 2026.
I realized that I didnât meet the timeline for a particular task.
While âHappy New Month đâ means a thanksgiving and appreciation mode/ phrase, It could also mean a reflective moment for accountability.
For a moment yesterday, I paused to reflect on- âWhat if March simply exposes what February did not fixâ?
It would mean I almost missed a deadline that could have cost me something big.
What if I had missed it?
Same might be applicable to some of us.
There are:
đStudents who are still graduating without employable skills.
đParents who are still confused about how to prepare their children for a future that looks nothing like the past.
đSchools who are still teaching content without context.
đYoung people who are still chasing certificates but missing competence.
And employers?
They are still saying, âThese generation of applicants are not work-ready.â
And these challenges make us human but we mustnât sit in challenges.
We must navigate and raise above it.
That is what differentiates excellence and average.
So today is not just a new month.
It is a reminder.
A reminder that the gap between education and employment does not close itself because the days are counting.
It rather widens when we ignore the preparation.
This March, I have these honest questions:
đWhat skill will young people build this month beyond the classroom?
đWhat workplace behaviour will you intentionally train?
đWhat real-life exposure will you create?
đWhat competence will replace mere confidence?
Because the future workforce is not formed in March 2035.
It is formed in what we choose to prioritise in this month of March 2026.
As an educator and workforce advocate, I see it every day - the difference between students who âfinished schoolâ and those who are actually ready for life and the world of work.
One group hopes.
The other prepares.
One group sees and count days and months as numbers.
The other builds capacity and accounts for their time every day.
In my mentorship program this March, we choose to build capacity.
We continue with intentional preparation.
Building the future workforce.
Happy New Month.

While interacting with students on campus in gathering a well rounded data for my book âFrom Classroom to Campus â, we had some discussions around the silent pressures they are confronted with but rarely discuss with their parents.
So, University admission is celebrated loudly.
Photos.
Congratulations.
Family pride.
âWhat course did you get?â
âWhich university?â
But many parents donât see what happens after the excitement settles because most students donât report struggles immediately.
They try to adjust silently.
Letâs look at the 10 things many students go through on campus but rarely tell their parents in the commentsâŹď¸

Dear Student,
Come closer letâs have an honest talk.
You know that feeling two weeks before exams?
That Sudden motivation.
New timetable.
New resolutions.
Highlighters everywhere.
Promises like, âThis time Iâll do it properly.â
Then comes the late nights.
All night study. (TDB)
The tired mornings.
The anxiety when you open past questions and realise some topics look unfamiliar.
And you begin to doubt whether you are smart.
You are actually smart itâs just that your brain cannot compress three months of understanding into five nights of panic.
Weâve all been there isnât it?đ
Now here you are:
Reading with fear instead of focus.
Memorising instead of understanding.
Hoping and praying questions come from only areas you read and understood.
Letâs face reality:
The calm students who walks into the exam hall relaxed?
They didnât suddenly become serious when the timetable dropped.
They were revising in small bits when it felt unnecessary.
They were asking questions when others said, âWe still have time.â
They treated random Tuesdays like exam season.
They treated public holidays like school days.
They had quality sleep and a relax brain.
Because in the end, exams will not reward your pressure it will reward your preparation.
In this case, failure might not be due to lack of capacity but rather in the
inconsistency and postponement of the demand life places on you today.
Now is the time to pause and reflect: ask yourself-
Am I building understanding weekly
Or depending on adrenaline to rescue me?
Because last-minute reading might help you survive.
But steady practice is what distinguishes excellence from average.
So the real focus isnât,
âWill I pass?â
Itâs,
âWhat am I doing on ordinary days that will make me better in the coming days?â
Remember that todayâs tiny habits all gears towards the preparation for your future workplace.
Are you preparing gradually or waiting for pressure to wake you up?

Nobody plans to lose focus.
Nobody plans to lower their standards.
It just happens slowly through association.
The people you sit with.
The people you laugh with.
The people you admire.
All combines to form who you are becoming.
If your circle normalizes laziness, gossip, disrespect, or shortcuts your character will adjust to survive in that space.
If your circle celebrates discipline, ambition, integrity, and growth, your character will rise to match it.
We donât become like our friends overnight.
We become like what we repeatedly tolerate.
Maybe now is the time to sit back and ask yourself these questions:
đDo my friends push me to study or distract me from it?
đDo they respect my goals or mock them?
đDo I leave their presence better or smaller?
Your future is being shaped in ordinary conversations.
Choose wisely.
Because the same way company can dilute your standards, it can also rebuild your character, sharpen your mindset, and strengthen your values.
If this made you pause and think, share it.
Let someone else check their circle today.

The silent gap sometimes shows in the space between what you know is right⌠and what you actually choose.
Right decisions are often Inconvenient!
Unpopular!
Unseen!
You close the silent gap when:
âď¸You choose discipline instead of delay.
âď¸ Integrity instead of shortcuts.
âď¸Growth instead of comfort.
âď¸ Long-term impact instead of quick applause.
The right decision today may not trend but it will build the kind of future that doesnât need you to keep explaining.
đMy Question For You.
What decision will you make today that you will be thankful for tomorrow?

A common frustration among young professionals sounds like this:
âIâm doing my job, but no one seems to appreciate or notice.â
Doing good work quietly in this era doesnât always communicate value.
Communicating the value you add to a task doesnât mean self-promotion. It simply shows articulated value.
Try this:
⢠Share progress updates, as well as finished work through documented report.
⢠Connect your tasks to team or organisational goals.
⢠When something goes well, say what worked and why.
Do not mistake this for bragging.
Youâre helping others understand your contribution.
What your bosses donât intentionally see, they canât quantify and reward.
Visibility builds trust.
đMy Question For You?
Where could you communicate your work more clearly this week.

Today, the world celebrate love everywhere.
My prayer for you on this day is that:
May you always know that the deepest love you will ever need comes from God, steady, pure, and unshaken.
May you never confuse attention for affection, or pressure for love.
May your heart be guarded, your standards be strong, and your identity be rooted in truth.
May you attract friendships and relationships that honour your faith, respect your boundaries, and protect your peace.
May you never feel pressured to prove your worth.
You are already chosen.
Already valuable.
Already enough.
And when the world grows misleading trend, may you hear clearly the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit in wisdom guiding you.
The Lord, surround you with discernment.
Strengthen your convictions.
Keep you safe emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
You will grow into a person who loves wisely and live boldly for Christ.
Happy Valentineâs Day my dear
You are deeply loved today and always. â¤ď¸
If you quit today you probably might be failing a generation
Some people are blessings some are lessons you just have to learn to channel the right ones

One reason the workplace feels confusing is because leaders donât really explains how culture works.
Work culture goes beyond what is written in policies.
It involves what is rewarded, tolerated, and repeated.
Hereâs how to understand it without losing yourself.
This week, observe before reacting.
Notice:
âď¸How people speak in meetings
âď¸How decisions are actually made
âď¸What gets praised and what gets ignored
âď¸You are learning behaviours, patterns and the environment.
Once you understand the culture,
you can choose how to show up wisely.
Consistent practice brings you to the point of mastery.
With clarity, confidence will follow.
