Promoting Inclusive Mainstream Education for Children with Cerebral Palsy

It is always important to ask the right questions to have actionable answers.
Ask these 3 questions:
1. “What support will my child receive in class?”
2. “Who do I contact if there are challenges?”
3. “Can we trial one term and review together?”
That last one is the most powerful. It removes the school’s fear of commitment and protects your child.

When you walk into that school meeting, bring:
Your child’s medical report, therapist recommendations, any previous records, and your list of their strengths from Step 1.
You don’t need everything. What you have is enough to start.
Tag a CP family who needs to see this 👇

A simple WhatsApp message to the head teacher could change your child’s life.
Request the meeting in writing. It creates a record, signals you’re serious, and makes it harder to be ignored.

Before any school meeting, do this first. 👆
Write down 5 things your child CAN do. Their strengths. What lights them up. Schools respond better to children introduced by their abilities — not their diagnosis.
💬 Tell us in the comments: what does your CP child do brilliantly?
