If my messiah showed up at my door today, would I recognize him? He was amongst his own, and his own knew him not. How can you not recognise the one you waited for so long for. You taught your children about it, yet you chanted crucify him when he finally came. This is what it is for some of you. You won't remember God even if he shows now. This is why you doubt when we tell you He is inside of you.

The mind is fertile soil; everything seed can grow–good and bad. You might not be able to stop the bad seed from growing, but you can concentrate on enlivening the good seed by watering it as much as you should.
As a man thinketh, so is he! If your mental environment is bushy, you'll become a product of fate... a place where negative thoughts are empowered and you become something to pray against. You reduce yourself to a prophetic character.
The importance of being conscious of who you are in christ is this: you empower positive thoughts that transform you in the image of God as it were in the beginning.

MEN ARE POLYGAMOUS IN NATURE!
Men are not polygamous in nature it is the animal in man that is. Man is a triune being; BODY, SOUL, SPIRIT. The body (matter) is a bag of endless desires. It only seeks satisfaction for its vile appetite. A dog only thinks about food and s*x, but the triune man is beyond just an instinctive animal that only seeks pleasure. Man is a particle of God experiencing material existence on earth.
Man was a mere animal made in the image of God, and this process makes a big difference–the difference of a conscious being. *Read Psalm 82:6*. If your desire rules over you, it is a sign that there is still a lot of work to be done in the secret place. (We all have a lot of work to do)
This is not me saying that one must be perfect (WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE). Instead, you should be willing to succumb to the process of perfection granted by Yeshua. I am saying that it is possible to harmonise the soul and the body rather than let the flesh control the soul. If one man has done it, it then means that it is possible. God does not use the crowd to set an example, He sets only one man apart to drive His lessons. How can we ever do greater things than Yeshua did if we still give excuses for submitting to the desires of the flesh?
Comparing yourself to Abraham, David, Jacob, Solomon, etc. Who gave in to their animalistic desires on occasions is not humility, but rather a denial of the perfect work that is achievable in Christ. Rather than giving excuses, seek God's help to conquer it–you are a god!

The word 'SOUL' used here is 'PYCHE', in simple terms, it means, the totality of the human mind. This means that the prosperity of the MIND must come above all else.

Growing up, we are taught about heaven and hell. We believed all the stories until we grew up and started studying. Of all the doctrines of the Jehovah's witnesses movement (watch tower), the matter of hell is one thing they were right about. They may not have exhaustively treated the matter, but time has done a better job.
There are certain truths that have been veiled by the English language as it concerns the translation of religious literature.
Let's discuss this at the *ABUJA GOSPEL HANGOUT* next month.

BEYOND THE ANIMAL!
To understand this scripture, it is imperative to know the nature of God and the true nature of man.
What is man?
Let's first look at the ANIMAL.
Man is originally an animal. His animalistic nature is responsible for his evil instincts. After God had created everything, he MADE MAN IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS. This means that, by virtue of God's breath, man became a living soul. From that day, man set out on a journey of becoming like God by being exposed to God's love bit by bit. When the certain came, it showed man a faster way to make it happen...the faster method of becoming like God–the fruit! Man was going to eventually eat the fruit, but it was not the right time.
Fast forward...
Man is NOTHING without God.
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says, "I will build my church (Ekklesia), and the gates of heal shall not prevail against it. What does ecclesia mean? Ek means out, kaleo means to call. These Greek words make of the Word. This means i will call you out and build you, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against you. This clearly shows that Jesus was not referring to a building but a people.
Let's go further. After Adam fell, the glory of God wrapped them left. This is why we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glorious presence. In the beginning, man was God's glory, in the latter, the glory became separate from man, and it was then compulsory that only the priest stood between Man and his God; only the priest could enter the holies of holies–the Shikinah (PRESENCE OF GOD). The Ark was too stand as a reminder that man should carry the presence within him and not as an object.
Why did Jesus come?
To rebuild the house! The first thing Christ did was to take away the illusion of truth that man built. Man found peace in ignorance of his true nature, Jesus destroyed this peace by revealing the Truth to man...YOU ARE NOT AN ANIMAL . Read Matthew 10:34. The sword cut deeply into man's illusion and set him free with the truth. This led to a cognitive dissonance that set sons against fathers, etc. (I'm sure it is making sense to you now).
Jesus came to build his house–man, as intended from creation. Man without God is just an animal. Man, with God is God's dwelling. This was why Jesus first destroyed the physical temple (THE HOLIES OF HOLIES) in order to establish it in man. The death of Christ qualified man to house God.
Read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
It is impossible to worship God if we do not understand our true nature.
John 4:21, Jesus’ statement to the Samaritan woman—"Believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem." . Vs 23 says "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him".
Spirit here is pneuma, which means the inner man. Man is God's house within which there is a space for all who seek to know God through him.

3 years ago, I was on my way to work, and an argument ensued. I was in the front seat. It was about faithfulness in marriage. All the men said every man has any or all of these habits: Alcohol, smoking, and womanising. Since they all shared the same opinion, it was no longer an argument. It was about who did what better.
A man spoke: "I have never cheated on my wife." From the silence that followed, it was obvious that a smirk followed. The other three passengers said it was impossible unless you were a bad person🤔... "Even reverend father dey do am". So one of them said. The fellow still insisted that he was serious. He did not speak arrogantly. His voice sounded as though it should have been normal for everyone.
However, the opposite is the case... Promiscuity is the norm. Chastity does not exist! Hmm!
Men are not polygamous in nature. The animal is. Man is beyond the flesh!
This post is in response to a question some asked about promiscuity. A lady per se who said all men are the same because she's had her fair share of s*x for help.

MY WALK!
Why am I even a Christian? I asked all these questions over an over again in the early days of my spiritual journey. Who is this Yeshusha guy?
Although I was baptised in Catholic, but, my grandfather worshipped the family deity at the time. My mum was the religious one in the house. The funny part is that I used to enjoy eating the animals sacrificed to this deity. At the time, my favourite meal was ogogoro (shekpe). I was less than 5 years of age. Whenever I was beaten, the only thing that quelled by anger was ogogoro and a walk with my grandfather. At the time, I didn't know a word in English, even though my dad was an academician. As young as I was, I already had questions. I am not a believer, I am a seeker... I sought to know God early and had always dreamt of being a reverend father. I love the Catholic church so much because I understand its history. Contrary to many beliefs, no church comes close in terms of structure and system. Before you argue, wait until your church is 1000 years old.
As I grew older, I became more curious; I sought to know why we have so many religions that claim to have the best understanding of God. I didn't start with Christianity. I spoke with some of my Muslim friends to know what it takes to become a Muslim. The Imam of the Masjid was my neighbour then. They were supposed to speak to him, and all I'd need to was to recite the SHAHADA, take up an Arabic name, and so on. My name was going to be Musa, the Arabic version of the name Moses. It didn't eventually work out as it was obvious I was only a seeker trying to learn the religion. You know how harsh the punishment for apostasy is in Islam...d**th by hanging. Man wants to live long. I just ended up buying the English Quran to study for myself. I was an interesting journey. I have attended many religious meetings and public lectures organised by the cross bearers (The Grail Message by Abdrushin), The Mormons, Eck, and so on. I also studied some oriental religous. Everything pointed me to Jesus Christ.
I am telling you this story to let you understand that I am not a Christian because I was born a Christian, I CHOOSE to be a Christian. There is nothing anyone can tell me that can change my love for Jesus, not even the character of many Christians who treat you like they are better than you.
Have you ever read the Bible for yourself, or are you just a mind built by what you were told. You believe everything without questioning. No spirit is too big to be tested. But, how can you test a spirit without the Word? Read Phil. 1:9;10, Hebrew 5:11-14. Read these passages when you can. You'll see that a dull mind can not comprehend God. An untrained mind will dwell on milk that stunts spiritual growth.
We can now just simply download Bibles on our phones. What is the excuse for not reading it? It is also very important to submit to a church that teaches the Word. This will encourage you to dig deeper to understand your creator.
