Crystal Research and Training Hub had another free session with about 25 master students at the Institute of Education, University of Ibadan on 6th January 2022. The training lasted for five hours, teaching on issues relating to research designs and probability sampling!

It was such a beautiful time with everyone. As we started the session with a baseline measurement (Pretest) to establish the participant's knowledge regarding the subject of discussion and after the training, the same test (Post test) was attempted again and result of the test gave the participants so much joy and laughter as there has been a tremendous change and increased knowledge.

For instance, a participant who scored 15 out of 100 at the initial test but after the training, same participant scored 95 marks out of 100. What a massive improvement and impact within a 5 hours training. Another participant who scored 25 marks before had a great leap after the training by scoring 90. And many more testimonies that shows the impact of the training session.

It was such a delight to see smile on the face of everyone especially as they prepare for examination. Their fears disappeared as they were able to receive a simplified teaching on Research design.

Crystal Research and Training Hub team is launching into making more impact in 2022 and dissolve the fears. of our clients, who come to us with major concerns in any area of research work and training.

The team led by Daniel Olutola and CRTH team members; Balogun Hameed Adedeji, Adeyemi Okediran, Mopelola Shoyemi, Oluwatola Toluwalope Christiana and Kilanko Abosede in ensures the smooth running of all activities. The Crystal Research and Training hub team on Thursday had an extensive free training with some set of students at the University of Ibadan from the department of Educational management and Institute of Education. The training started at exactly 10am and ended at 3:35pm.

The students were trained on statistical analysis and tools. The training was done in order to prepare the students for the forthcoming examination at the Institute of Education, University of Ibadan.

The training was in two sessions;
The first session ran between 10am and 12pm with the interval of 30minutes break.This was when the trainer showed his intellectual ability by taking the trainee through the theoretical aspect of the analysis while the second session started at exactly 12:30pm, this is where the trainer allowed the participants to showcase the skills they've learnt in the first session of the training by using their computer/laptop. The trainer went through the rigorous session by running some of the analysis using SPSS that has been taught in the first session.

The training was made easy by other team member who were up and doing, going round to check if all participants are on the same level and no one is left behind.

The session which was practical in nature was quite inquisitive and explanatory as every participants quest for more knowledge, and it was also educative and informative.

At the end of the session, the participants expressed their gratitude while they request for more session from the team members.

I saw how we all rush online to search for anything we need answers to and we seems to be forgetting to really apply our minds in thinking and been creative anymore so far we can get the answer online.

Getting the answer online is not the problem but the ability to situate such information to what we want to use it here.

I have seen how people love to do very robust analysis with a data that will be wonderful for well developed descriptive analysis and start making inference where it does not exist. That is a big error for research and it usage.
