Two Ceremonies, One Union — GCUOBA'06 Stands Tall!

Greetings!

Our very own Engr. Nwanneakolam Daniel tied the knot with his bride today in a beautiful blend of traditional marriage rites and white wedding ceremony.

In the spirit of support and unity that defines our association, GCUOBA'06 members turned out in great numbers to honour and celebrate one of our own.

Special appreciation goes to all GCUOBA'06 members who graced the occasion with their presence.

We wish the newlyweds a blissful marriage.

Today, June 3, 2026, our own Director of Projects, Mr. Akaegbochi Anchor, traditionally wedded his sweetheart.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the executive committee and all GCUOBA’06 members who turned out in large numbers to honor our brother, Mr. Anchor, with their presence.

We also thank our host, Mr. Anchor, for the wonderful, VIP treatment extended to us today.

Greetings, Umuahians!

To mark the start of events for the year 2026, GCUOBA'06 held its first meeting on February 22, 2026, and it was graced with a massive turnout.

It was a moment for members to reconnect for the first time in 2026, discuss and share ideas on how to make the year a productive one, achieve the association's goals, and grow stronger together as one united body.

We thank God for a successful first GCUOBA'06 meeting of the year. The date for subsequent meetings will be communicated to members in due course.

The final item on our bucket list was fulfilled yesterday, Sunday, December 28, 2025, when GCUOBA'06 gathered for a Thanksgiving service to express our profound gratitude to God. We thanked Him for preserving our lives through the years, bringing us home safely from far and near for the reunion, blessing us with a successful celebration, and keeping our association united as one body.

The Thanksgiving service was held at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Afara, Umuahia, Abia State, where members of GCUOBA'06 joyfully worshipped together.
