📖 Scripture Reading
📜 “Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise!
Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work,
They labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.” — Proverbs 6:6–8 (NLT)
🌱 Theme
💡 A Divine Call to Watch, Listen and Learn.
🌿 Devotional
💭 Life often confronts us with pressures and troubles that can easily discourage us. However, hidden inside those challenges are divine lessons meant to reveal God’s will to us and strengthen our patience.
🕊️ Not long ago, while sharing insights with a friend about life and God’s perfect timing, the Holy Spirit gave me a vivid picture of what timing and patience are, through the growth process of a seed-bearing tree.
🌳 When the seed is planted, it quietly sprouts.
🌳 Slowly, it gains height, develops bodily strength, and at maturity, it eventually starts to bear fruit.
🌳 This process happens gradually, and the tree doesn't rush it; instead of rushing it, it patiently yields to the directions by nature, —submitting totally to every of its promptings:
In the same way, God aligns our planting, growth, maturity, and fulfilment with the natural order He has designed, just like that of a fruit-bearing tree.
⚠️ He plants us and expects us also to align our existence in those very processes He has orderly established. If we ignore this order, we risk veering off course or running ahead of His timing, and missing out on the wisdom embedded in our maturity amounts to a stunted development, confusion and impotence, and that does us no good.
📌 Lessons from Nature as taught by Jesus:
🕊️ On Trust, He points us to the → Sparrows (Matthew 6:26)
🌅On Faithfulness → He uses the crow of the rooster at every dawn.
🌱On Faith → He sited the mustard seed (Matthew 17:20)
🌾 On Fruitfulness → The parable of the sower (Luke 8:5–8)
🪖 On Courage → David’s training with lions and bears (1 Samuel 17:34–37)
🐜Amd on Wisdom & Diligence → He mentions the ants (Proverbs 6:6)
✨ Truly, creation is God's silent teacher, inviting us daily to watch, listen, and learn.
👉 But how many of us have obediently yielded our impatience to these processes for their fulfilment as He instructs?
🔍 Reflect on these questions:
❓ Are you trying to rush a process God has ordered for your growth?
❓ What lessons can you glean from nature about trust, timing, and perseverance?
❓ How might observing God’s creation help you face today’s worries with calm and confidence?

🙏 Father, thank You for the quiet lessons hidden in Your creation.
Help me to watch, listen, and learn from the order You have set in nature.
Teach me patience, trust, and perseverance as I grow into the purpose You have prepared for me.
May my heart rest fully in Your timing, and may my life bear fruit that brings You glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

📖 Scripture Reading
“But Zadok the priest, Benaiah son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and David’s personal bodyguard refused to support Adonijah.”
— 1 Kings 1:8 (NLT)
🌱 Theme
Do everything to avoid the falling of destiny bridges.
💫 Reflection
Life’s victories are rarely accidental — they grow out of commitment, wisdom, and right alignment with things or people that are divinely positioned in our ways.
Unlike losing, it is often easier than winning because while winning demands focus, perseverance, and discernment, losing stems out of our insensitivity to things that matter in most cases.
Adonijah’s downfall was not totally the display of rebellion; instead, it was his failure to value the right alliances despite that it wasn't God's will that he lead Israel, and aside his recalcitrance, he further ignored the contributions of the men whose loyalty to King David was steadfast in his ill-nurtured quest for succession. People like:
Benaiah, the fearless warrior who slew two Moabite champions and a lion in a snowy pit.
Rei, the trusted lieutenant whose courage earned him honor in the palace.
Nathan, the prophet whose counsel always carried the king’s heart.
Shimei, though unstable, a voice whose influence could sway outcomes.
He instead went on to build his castle on sand, despising the wisdom available to him — and disgrace followed, and how often do we do the same thing he did?
We hurry after goals, and neglect the people or promptings God assigns to safeguard us; mostly allowing pride and prejudice to blind our sense of reasoning to divine connections hidden in plain sight.
Remember:
David’s victory over the Amalekites began with kindness to a sick Egyptian servant (1 Samuel 30:11–19).
Naaman’s healing started with the simple advice of a servant girl (2 Kings 5:2–3).
Moses’ life was preserved in a fragile basket, and subsequently in due course, his shepherd’s rod split the Red Sea in two.
Observe that God delights in using what seems small or ordinary to open mighty doors. Never despise His arrangements — they are bridges to your destiny. Remain blessed.

🙏 Closing Prayer
Gracious Father,
Thank You for every person and prompting You have woven into my journey. Help me to honor, nurture, and value the relationships that carry Your purpose for my life. Give me discernment to recognize Your hand in unlikely places and humility to receive wisdom from any vessel You choose. Teach me to build bridges of closeness and keep them strong, so that Your blessings may freely flow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

📖 Bible Passage
“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
‘Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?’”
— Romans 11:33-34 (NIV)
🌟 Theme
“If God is understood, He is no longer God.”
— St. Thomas Aquinas
🕊️ Reflection
It once seemed as though the devil was winning the battle in Joppa when faithful Dorcas (Tabitha) died in the presence of Christ’s would-be believers — and nothing could be done.
The situation looked hopeless: “Wake Dorcas, and we will believe you; or bury her, and we’ll depart with your gospel.” They sensed she had more goodness to give.
History has it that they hurriedly sent two men to fetch Peter from Lydda to Joppa. When Peter arrived, they showed him the garments Dorcas had lovingly made, tearfully pleading with him to intercede. As he prayed, heaven responded — and she arose!
Acts 9:42 records that the news of her resurrection spread throughout Joppa, and as a result, many believed in Christ. God used her predicament as bait to fish up the land.
💭 Lesson for Us
Let us ponder the divine strategy behind Joppa’s conversion: God turned an event that appeared tragic into a platform to reveal His purpose.
Dorcas’ death, though painful, became a stage for the gospel. First, God shaped her into a generous, compassionate woman whose loss would stir resistance. Then He positioned Peter for her resurrection — which ignited a great awakening.
The people of Joppa had heard the good news before, yet hadn’t yielded. But Tabitha’s resurrection brought a fresh wave of faith.
Today, God is asking:
“How will you respond if I choose to reach the unreached through these challenges you are facing?”
Will you be an excuse-filled Moses, another instruction-disregarding Saul, a greed-minded Judas — or a good-hearted Tabitha, whose kindness fostered God’s glory among the people?
🙏 Encouragement
Comrade, you may not fathom the purpose of God in your current trials, but remember: the same God who used Tabitha’s death to spread the good news in Joppa can use your struggles to inspire praise.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Only trust Him, for if He is fully understood, He ceases to be God.

📖 Bible Passage
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
— Matthew 7:1-2 (NIV)
✨ Theme
🕊️ We All Have Prodigal Storylines
It is astonishing how easily we condemn others for the very things of which we ourselves are guilty.
The scripture, in its wisdom, leaves no part of our humanity untouched, rather, it unveils our weakness to sin and continually calls us back to forgiveness — both from God and from one another — through a love that is selfless and unconditional.
🙌 No soul, whether living or departed, is entirely free from the shadow of the Prodigal Son’s guilt.
🎭 A wise man once described the Bible as “a divinely written and arranged script, kept to be acted out by humanity.” We are indeed actors on life’s grand stage, directed by the Sovereign Producer — God Himself.
⚖️ Yet in our own shortcomings, we quickly brand the Prodigal Son as wasteful, impatient, rebellious, or sinful, forgetting that in judging him, we pass judgment upon ourselves.
❓ Who among us has not, at some point, demanded from the Father the release of our own “self-liberty,” a restless craving that often leads to wandering and sin?
💎 How mistaken to think Jesus’ parable speaks only of material possessions, when its true message is about life itself.
“Let the one who is without sin be the first to cast a stone.” — John 8:7
🙏 If we are honest, we must admit: we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.
🔥 Too often, we criticize and condemn because we have not lingered long enough at the Refiner’s fire for deep self-examination.
🍃 Every hanging fruit — no matter how securely attached — must eventually fall, whether by nature, by its own weight, or under outside pressure. God uses both our triumphs and our failures to reveal our frailty and humble any illusion of perfection.
👥 Even the elder brother in the parable stood no taller than the prodigal. He exclaimed, “Has he not squandered everything on wild living?” — but his words were laced with bitterness and judgment, though Scripture warns, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”
🌱 God calls us to humility, to mend the rifts carved by self-righteousness in the body of Christ. This is a personal invitation — to you and to me — to walk in grace and mercy.
💐 Remain blessed.

Bible Reading
“Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy,
for we have had our fill of contempt.
We have had more than our fill of the scoffing of the proud
and the contempt of the arrogant.”
— Psalms 123:3–4 (NLT)
Theme
🌟 Dealing with the Ills of Contempt Through Trust in God’s Unfailing Mercy
Reflection
Life’s purest and most profound stories are often told by those who, against their will, have found themselves in life’s classroom. Even when words fail, their expressions reveal the truths hidden deep within their hearts.
A generation that pats a tiger on the back without harm may never know the price paid by those before them to build such closeness.
Experiencing contempt or the scoffing of the proud has left many wounded and uncertain about the healing time can bring. Yet if we look to God for mercy, staying focused on the pursuit of freedom and redemption, He will surely see us through.
The Psalmist understood that only God has the power to silence the scorn of others. He trusted Him to create an atmosphere of peace and satisfaction — and invites us to do the same.
A Word of Encouragement
I may not know the depth of your wounds or how you’ve reacted to the arrogance of others. But today, I urge you: address these hurts by trusting God’s mercy, rather than resorting to conflict that may inflict even deeper scars.
Consider this promise:
“O Israel, hope in the Lord;
For with the Lord there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption.”
— Psalms 130:7
(Read it aloud, replacing “Israel” with your own name.)
Mercy always comes before redemption in God’s dealings with us.
Closing Blessing
✨ Remain blessed, and may your Sunday—and every day this week—be filled with grace and peace.
Jesus loves you.
