• Acceptance Fee Portal Opens: Monday, 24 August 2026
• Candidates must first accept their admission on JAMB CAPS.
• After accepting on CAPS, log into the UNIBEN admission portal to confirm your admission and pay the acceptance fee.
• Deadline: Monday, 21 September 2026.
• Failure to pay before the deadline may result in withdrawal of the admission offer.
• Pay only through UNIBEN’s approved payment platform and keep your receipt.
• Candidates should regularly check UNIBEN’s official channels for further updates.

UNIBEN Creates Login Details for New Students Offered Admission

Meanwhile, acceptance fee payment is expected to begin soon, with online and physical clearance to follow. Resumption date for freshers’ remains October 5.

UNIBEN Acceptance Fee:
• Science/Medical: ₦122,820
• Non-Science: ₦115,670

NOTE:
Only students who have accepted their admission offer on JAMB CAPS, and completed their Change of Course, will be sent their new student portal login details via their registered email address.

OFFICIAL: UNIBEN 2025/2026 Academic Session Tomorrow!

The University of Benin has officially announced Saturday, 15th August 2026 as the end of the 2025/2026 academic session for full-time undergraduate programmes.

New students: Clearance/Registration begins 5th October 2026.

Returning students: Resumption is two weeks later.

Students are advised to use the holiday period to rest, prepare, and get ready for the new academic session.
