FOCUS SERIES S01E10: Have an Exit Strategy for Skills, Tasks or Businesses You Wish to Leave.

Most people think about beginning, entry alone without understanding that the cycle of completion flows from beginning to end, entry to exit.

If you must focus on one skill or task, do not exit the other skills or tasks using the same strategic thinking and ex*****on you used to enter.

Examples:
1. Train a protege to take over your existing clients
2. Sell a business you wish not to continue
3. Build a system for a business to run without you
4. Host an exit party where you inform the public of your decision to leave and next course of action

A good exit creates ground for re-entry, furnishes your clients trust and keeps intended output in check.

FOCUS SERIES S01E09: Have an Anchor Pulling You to Focus.

As days go by, distractions in form of events, possibilities, social interactions, media, constructs, etc disrupt focus. It is harder to focus today than it has ever been and it will get harder tomorrow. Get an anchor.

An anchor is a constant reminder of your decision to focus and your object of focus. It can be a person, a memory, a desired status, can be God as well.
To discover your anchor, think this:

1. Who, what, where, etc reminds you of the goal the most
2. Who, what, where is a part of the desired output
3. Who, what, where would you go to or tell as soon as the output is achieved.

FOCUS SERIES S01E08: Differentiate Between Noise and Signal.

We have limited number of actions per day. Some actions are in line with the intended objective. Some are entirely unlinked to it, even if they seem to be.

Learning how to filter your environment, information, thoughts to differentiate things that matter to your mission & those that don't helps you maximize your limited number of daily actions.

●A family matter is noise
●A family's legacy is signal.

●A bad day at work is noise
●An organisation's yearly target is signal.

●National news is noise
●Market reaction to national news is signal.

Know the difference.

FOCUS SERIES S01E05: Focus Requires Freedom, Let Go...

To truly concentrate on a goal, task or skill, you must let go of that which consumes you. It could be regret, past grudge, bad experiences, past mistakes.

Without knowing, all these convictions secretly burn out your energy, creativity and ability to see.
"The clearest eye sees the widest view and the clearest mind sees the farthest"

Making it a habit to remove all unwanted feelings will pragmatically increase the attention & focus on your desired skill/goal or task.

FOCUS SERIES S01E04: Prioritise Your Apex Task.

Your apex task is that task you can do repeatedly well, learn easily and function without a team or extra support. This is a task that has a strong base for completion or achievement of a desired output.
This is the same principle used in exams where you start with questions you can easily solve without hitches and move on to more complex problems you need time, attention and memory to attempt.

In a life of unknown outcomes / results, make definite moves in repetition to build momentum for indefinite moves, otherwise you can get trapped chasing a fairytale.

FOCUS SERIES S01E03: Focus Means Prioritise Not Neglect

Focused Model
A sequential cycle containing four tasks (T1, T2, T3 & T4).
All tasks are completed but in order of priority, thus giving maximum result per output

Vs.

Scattered Model
A central point branching outward simultaneously to all tasks (T1, T2, T3, T4).
All tasks are attempted at the same time giving no flow and reducing energy/result per task/output.

FOCUS SERIES S01E02: Take care of Yourself First, Others Next

"If I were given 24 hours to cut a tree, I will use the first 23 hours to sharpen my axe"

You have goals, desires, including desires to assist family and others but the tool to make that possible is You.
When you use a tool that isn't sharp, you get bad or low results. But when you focus efforts on building that tool, then everything it touches blossoms.

You are not focusing on yourself-first cause you want to neglect others, you are focusing so you can truly make an impact in their lives.

FOCUS SERIES SO1E01: There is no Perfect Time, Take Action

05/08/2026

It's easy to get lost in the wind when doing different things at a time. To maintain focus, pick a central goal, one that unites all the tasks and gives them meaning. This goal can be a project that requires all skills put together, or a job placement where having additional skills differentiates you from other applicants, or a business venture where there is proven synergy obtained from combination of services or simply the acquisition of a wholesome life experience. When you choose this central goal, you automatically know the scale of preferred tasks, fatigue is automatically reduced because of the reinforced focus and the benefits of multi-tasking is achieved.

Example: I have a goal of creating vidoes on how to run a food business so I multi-task between
Cooking - core
Accounting - to effectively manage the business
Teaching - learning best ways to pass a message
Videography/creation - producing the videos

All of these skills will help me achieve my central goal

Mission: To make Africans in Africa and Diaspora more money by multi-tasking
