Intelligence Meets Adventure at Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park

Cubing Africa, in partnership with Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park, had it's 3rd Experience The Rubik's Cube Inter-School Competition themed "Intelligence Meets Adventure" on Children's Day (May 27, 2017).
It was indeed a day of fun and adventure with students from all over South West Nigeria competing.
In the Senior category, 5 students solved 25 Rubik's cubes within the shortest time, while in the Junior category, 3 students solved 15 Rubik's cubes.
Christ The King Catholic College, Odolewu, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State came 1st solving 25 Rubik's cubes in 3.22s, closely followed by Supreme Education Foundation solving in 3.43s. In the 3rd place was St. Anthony's Grammar School, Esure, Ijebu-Imushin, Ogun State solving same number of Rubik's cubes in 4minutes.
Pathfinders Private School, Mowe, Ogun State came 1st in the Junior category. They solved 15 Rubik's cubes in 7.46s. They were followed by Kemson Schools International, Ikoyi, Lagos State solving same number of Rubik's cubes in 8.25s
The Solo competition was held on the Ferris Wheel and Mustapha Yakubu of Supreme Education Foundation emerged the winner in the Senior category with an average of 0.20s, while Nwaeke John of Pathfinders Private School, Mowe emerged the winner in the Junior category with an average of 0.70s.
17 schools participated in the competition displaying their cognitive skills in a fun and exciting way.
Prizes range from Cash gift, Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones, School bags, etc. The overall best, Mustapha Yakubu, will be undergoing a mentoring program to prepare him for a great future.
Cubing Africa congratulates all the winners. It was indeed a memorable experience at the Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park and we look forward to having a repeat experience.
