The set of people governing Nigeria are not only incompetent but they are desperate. A few days ago the whole world experienced unprecedented expressions of dissatisfaction by Nigerians, especially the youth population, on the colossal failure of the Nigeria government and its structures, this popular uprising was tagged: , I'm sure by now we all know that the protests were beyond bringing attention to the activities of the Nigerian Police and its dreaded: Special Anti-Robbery Squad- the protests loudly expressed people's general frustrations.
Back to the point on the desperation of the scrounger ruling class, they are refloating the idea of Social Media Bill to gag Nigerians, understanding fully well that Social Media played a major role in driving protests and the world attention they got.
As expected, many Nigerians are already pushing hard with , this is a course that must be won. There must be no attempt to stop people from being able to air their grievances on Social Media since this forlorn ruling class has subliminally gagged the conventional media in Nigeria.

Fresh out of school, when we thought wearing a suit equals making money. The crux of this statement is to highlight the overwhelming importance of the informal sector to an economy such as Nigeria's.
Unfortunately, this sector has been overwhelmingly abandoned and the chase has been with the few utmostly competitive opportunities in the formal sector.
But let me join the school of thought that believes that if the informal sector in Nigeria is properly spruced then it can cater to the heavy joblessness bedeviling us.
Trust that Nigeria's government has bungled any opportunity to get it right, but it's never too late.
To add, I still love seeing people in a good suit but I respect those people who are engineering our economy in the informal sector.

Nigeria Journalists Should Ask Tough Questions
Tough questions we all know make public servants and political office holders uncomfortable, but they must be asked because they are responsible for the welfare of the whole people and entities that make up the country.
Journalists in Nigeria must ask these group of persons tough questions, they must be questioned on how they are steering the affairs of the nation, why the majority of the people are not feeling the impact of governance after sixty years of self-rule.
Journalists in Nigeria must ask questions to get the people informed. Every Nigerian should get a chance to examine and determine what this group of persons is doing with the powers they hold on behalf of the people, only then can there be accountability.
Journalists should ask questions to disallow this group of people from getting comfortable with underperformance and overreach. Nigerians must begin to see the media as the conscience of society. Journalists should always stand with the people.
Learning from other nations, we would clearly see that journalists have held the responsibility of keeping office holders on their toes, making them feel scrutinized and by so bringing them to act in the interest of the people.

Am I the only one noticing that the quality and quantity of many things being produced in Nigeria have been greatly comprised?
We must have the temerity to call out these brands that have taken advantage of the lackluster of government and its institutions to shortchange Nigerians, especially during these times where the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic are been felt most by the people.
I have even heard that some companies are outrightly declaring the reason for this cruel act to be the increase in the Value-Added Tax (VAT) by the government. This is not only untenable, but it's also criminal.
This is deep and unfortunate. The need to highlight this event is to encourage change that will differentiate brands with integrity and brands just there to cash-out at all costs, even if it means cheating the very people using such brands.
