Every system has a face and a fuel. For many, the face is all they see. But underneath the face is a complex mechanism working to ensure that things go smoothly.
Today, the final spotlight falls on the torchbearer herself: Fatima Yusuf.
Fatima happens to be both face and fuel. Behind the scene, Fatima is constantly weaving ideas to improve the publicity of KOGIPSA. She's the brain behind so many wonderful ideas: from the Business Showcase, the Anonymous Session (possibly one of her favorites) down to the Executive Spotlight.
Just about every fun idea has emanated from her office. Fatima wears the PRO like a glove (no pun intended). For those who have been privileged to be KOGIPSite of the Week, Fatima must have been in your DM at some point. Gently nudging in her questioning.
Her soft-spoken and fair-natured manner is instantly endearing, but even more endearing is her disposition towards self-improvement. Fatima always wants to get better, and constantly finds spaces that push her outside the box.
Her meticulous attention to detail is almost mathematical. She wants things done and wants them done right. With Fatima on your team, you just know you're going to get the numbers up.
To our incredibly dedicated and wonderful PRO, thank you for your creativity, your excellence, and your unwavering service to KOGIPSA.
Congratulations on an outstanding tenure. We celebrate you today and wish you even greater success in all that lies ahead.

We begin the executive spotlight with the capacitated welfare director of KOGIPSA, Ovansa Abdulhamid.
His timely interactions helped organize the last Meet & Greet event, no wonder he found it fun and memorable.
Ovansa is the CEO of Big Ov graphix where he creates stunning designs and graphics. His work is so widely sought after that you might be using his products right now.
Despite the demands of a business life, he brilliantly balances it with pharmacy school; in a hand is cool cash while the other with pharmchem notes.
While one might expect his lifestyle to be extravagant, it may come as a shock that he maintains frugality in his spendings. Real money is widely invested and trust that he is a dedicated investor. He is one of those rare guys who considers cooking a life-saving skill and he does it exceptionally well.
As he passes on the baton to the next welfare director, he urges everyone to continue striving to be their best.
Let us all raise our hats to Ovansa👒

Have you ever been told to be the smartest person in the room? Today, we introduce a guy who took that statement literally.
Meet King Wada, the final-year breathren who prioritizes his sleep so much that he dislikes morning lectures😴. He is one who deeply understands the physiology of the brain, hence his preference for all non-brain-rot contents.
Some of King's talents revolve around the media. His photo and videograph skills are top-notch. While people only see the rays of sunshine merely as what it is, King sees the perfect opportunity to work his wonders behind the lens. With the right angle, he can turn a tired-looking face into a masterpiece.
When the day gets overwhelming, he is sure to wind down by gaming or watching sports. He also prefers homemade meals to ordering out— perhaps for monetary or health reasons. A smart choice for a smart guy, if I may say so myself.
“Till death, all defeats are psychological.” Words meant to be written in gold, don't you agree!
Alright everybody, send in your favourite emojis to celebrate him!👇

Fatimah's choice to study pharmacy was a decision made from genuine love and she is truly happy with her path. It comes as no surprise that her favourite course is pharmaceutical calculations and she is truly committed to mastering it.

It is that time of the semester again where the tension is at its peak. We often find ourselves asking: _Am I doing it right? can I complete this handout before the deadline?_ All of this without a doubt can feel overwhelming.
Everyone is preparing in their own way; some are stocking up on essentials (garri and the like), while others have secured their reading spaces for the late night study sessions. Either way, everyone wants to make the most of this period.
As you prepare, it is important to prioritize your health and conserve energy. One of the most crucial factor is healthy eating. You cannot assimilate on an empty or overly full stomach. Eat well!
Also, get enough sleep, relax when needed and do not forget to take deep breaths when things get though. Your mental health matters.
Important hacks and tips:
✓ Study thoroughly, do not leave any topic untouched. Part of being smart is practicing past questions alongside your reading.
✓ Pray consistently. Ask for His blessings and watch how things fall into place.
✓ Ensure to make soups and stews this period; they're economical and save time.
✓ Keep enough stationery and distribute them in your bags and pockets to avoid last minute issues.
✓ Stay hydrated and avoid the mid-day sun; you need to conserve your energy.
✓ Reduce or avoid caffeine; your brain needs rest to give you the best.
✓ Lastly, avoid risky or implicating situations.
Remember, there is a reason an A starts from 70; aim high and give it your best.
And to the 200- level students about to write your anatomy exam in about an hour: you've read even if you're not fully convinced you have: pray, breathe and go in confidently. You've got this!
Success is ours— by His grace!

In today's world, financial intelligence is not just a skill, it is survival. You cannot navigate the harsh realities of life if you don't understand the mechanisms of money🙂. And as pharmacy students, frugality should be your business.
This week's gist: Enefola Favour and his top-notch tech skills. Stay with me on this.
Favour, a penultimate pharmacy student, is smart, neat and reserved— in a cool way though. He is exceptionally skilled in videography and editing, having crafted incredible videos for the KOGIPSA business support initiative.
But that's not all, Favour is also a graphic designer, web3 merchant and tech enthusiast. We can simply say, he is a business man at heart. With side hustles like these, his financial savvy speaks for itself✨
Here is an interesting fact about him; he is bi-ethnic, enjoying the privilege of growing up with two cultures, gaining flexible perspectives and wider connections. Amazing right😃
Favour is a hearty eater and kind-hearted individual who is not afraid to share his food with others. But do not let his quiet nature fool you; he may be planning his next finance adventure 😏
✨Let's give it up for Enefola Favour; the master in money making👏👏👏
