Idjerhe Grammar School Alumni Association Holds 2nd National Conference Lecture, June 18

Idjerhe Grammar School Old Students' Association (IGSOSA), involving all old boys and old girls of the ancient College of Idjerhe Kingdom would hold her 2nd National Conference lecture at the Conference Hall of the College, Jesse Town.

According to a statement issued by the National President and National Secretary of IGSOSA, Mr. Fidelix Omamogho and Chief Wilson Okporua, stated the 2nd National Conference lecture titled: "CULTISM, INTERNET SCAM AND RITUAL KILLINGS: AS IT AFFECTS THE SOCIETY", would be delivered by an erudite scholar and an old student of IGS, Dr. Aaron Agbeche, on Saturday, June 18, 2022, beginning from noon.

The statement added the 2nd National Conference Lecture would be preceded by a courtesy visit on the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, King Obukohwo Monday Arthur Whiskey (JP), Udurhie 1, at his Palace, by 9am same day, enjoining IGS Old Boys and Old Girls to converge at Ovie Palace Road Junction for the royal visit.

The conference which would climax into election/swearing-in of newly elected national officers by BOT Chairman and presentation of awards of recognition to deserving awardees, also enjoined all old boys/old girls, students, teachers, and community leaders of the College to grace their alma mater 2nd National Conference lecture aimed at positioning the College for competitive academic excellence.

The alumni association noted the conference would also be preceded by a brief talk to the students and teachers at the School Assemby Ground with the topic: "The Effect of Immorality in Our Society", to be delivered by Old Student of the College, on Friday, June 17, 2022, by 8:00am prompt.

Thereafter, same day, the statement added there would be a novelty match between SCHOOL TEAM and OLD STUDENTS at the College football field, beginning in the evening.
