I have students in my class who excel at rote memorization yet lack awareness of their memorization techniques.

Continuing our discussion on unconventional school opinions from yesterday, the second point on my list is the use of grades as a measure of intelligence.

Are we cultivating test-takers or thinkers?

🤔🤔 We have some students who can cram 3 chapters yet know little or nothing.

The hardest part of teaching is pretending you’re okay. 🤕👨‍🏫😩

Incase you have a student who cry throughout during your lesson apply this method from an experienced educator

👉👉One teacher said she gave her anxious student a toy monkey to hug during lessons… and the tears stopped. Sometimes children don’t need punishment. They need safety.

When a farmer plants a seed, the seed does not grow immediately, and this does not indicate that growth is not occurring; rather, it is simply a matter of time and nurturing.

Teachers are analogous to farmers; by consistently planting positive seeds, you will ultimately reap the benefits.
