Applications have been invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the National Universities Commission, NUC-approved undergraduate programmes of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho, FUNATO, for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The admission exercise is for UTME candidates seeking 100 Level admission and Direct Entry candidates seeking 200 Level admission, with all eligible candidates expected to complete the online admission screening process within the stated period.

What Is the FUNATO Post UTME/Direct Entry Form About?
The FUNATO Post UTME/Direct Entry form is for candidates who seek undergraduate admission into the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The University is a specialised university with focus on agricultural education, scientific work and technology-based solutions for food security and sustainable development. Its teaching, research and practical training mandate is linked to the production of skilled graduates for service.
When Will FUNATO Admission Screening Registration Start and Close?
The online admission screening application will commence on Monday, 15 June 2026 and will close on Monday, 31 August 2026.
Candidates should complete the process within the stated period, since the notice states that there may be no extension of the registration period.
Who Is Eligible for FUNATO Post UTME Screening?
UTME candidates will be eligible for the FUNATO online admission screening exercise if they chose or changed their university of choice to the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
Candidates with the wrong UTME subject combination for their chosen programme will be required to change to the appropriate programme on JAMB CAPS before registration on the FUNATO portal.
What Age Requirement Applies to Candidates?
Candidates must have attained the age of 16 years on or before 30 September 2026.
This age condition applies to candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
What O'Level Results Are Required?
All candidates must possess a minimum of five O'Level credit passes obtained at one sitting or six O'Level credit passes obtained at two sittings.
The credit passes must be in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in WASSCE, NECO or GCE, as applicable to the chosen programme.
Who Is Eligible for FUNATO Direct Entry Screening?
Direct Entry candidates who wish to be considered for admission into the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho for the 2026/2027 academic session must have obtained the Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
Such candidates must also have chosen or changed to FUNATO as their first choice university and must apply for the screening exercise.
When Should Direct Entry Transcripts Be Submitted?
Direct Entry candidates will be required to submit their transcript(s) to the Registrar not later than 31 August 2026.
The transcript(s) may include 'A' Level result, NCE, OND or HND, depending on the candidate's entry qualification.

Candidates should apply only for approved programmes listed for the 2026/2027 academic session and they should ensure that they meet the admission requirements for their preferred course.

How Will Candidates Apply for FUNATO Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening?
Candidates will apply online through the FUNATO admission portal, using their JAMB Registration Number as the username and their surname as the initial password.
The application process is as follows:
Visit the FUNATO admission portal.
Log in with the JAMB Registration Number, for example, 202412345678EG.
Use the candidate's surname as the initial password, for example, OYESANMI, CHIBUZOR or UMAR.
Pay the portal access fee and screening fee through the admission portal.
Complete the online self-screening form.
Print the payment success receipt.
Ensure that O'Level results have been uploaded on JAMB CAPS before the close of the admission screening exercise.
Candidates should provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers, since data modification will attract a fee.
How Much Is the FUNATO Post UTME Screening Fee?
Candidates will pay a portal access fee of β¦3,550 and a screening fee of β¦2,000.00 through the admission portal in favour of FUNATO.
Payment may be made by card, using a credit or debit ATM card or by bank transfer through direct bank account debit and internet banking tools.
When Will FUNATO Post UTME Screening Take Place?
The Post UTME screening will take place from 1 September 2026.
Candidates should ensure that their online screening details, contact information and O'Level upload status are correct before the close of the admission screening exercise.
