SAY NO TO EMOTIONAL RESIGNATION -
The Advantage of being an employee is what you learn and not the money you receive. So, being desperate for greener pastures makes you cheat yourself because you'll be passing time without learning anything.
Many employees, especially the desperate ones suffer from a disease called Emotional Resignation - a situation where they're still coming to work, but only counting the remaining number of days to the end of the month. Staff who have resigned emotionally are only concerned with 2 things - work and get paid. They don't care about anything else. Passion, dedication, and all those workplace principles matter less to them. They're always there looking for greener pastures.
If you want to become an asset for your organization and for yourself. Be there, while you're there.
If you pour in your all, you build skill, competence, you possess attitudes that make you an indispensable asset anywhere you later go. If you resign emotionally while still on a job, you cheat yourself, because you'll be wasting your time learning nothing. So, the choice is yours.

2. Some of these students had a close brush with depression and had not fully recovered before they were suddenly whisked back to school. Tread with caution if you don't want to face the wrath or confused behavior of a depressed teenager.🏃🏼‍♀️
3. A lot of them have lost touch with academic activities, so they may require extra motivation to get back in tune. In view of this, be ready to spend extra time and give extra attention to those who might need it. And I guess that a great number of them will. I hope I will not be misunderstood if I say that some of them have turned to Non Academic Students.😛
4. In view of the current economic situation in the country, a host of these students went back to school with little or nothing. And this is in addition to the hunger they suffered for the months they were at home. It is also possible that most schools will not have enough money to feed these children very well. Please don't forget that a hungry man is an angry man. You may need to add hunger management and endurance to your curriculum this period. And I am thinking it will be a good idea to reduce physical stress for them.😢
5. This was the first time most of these students spent such number of months with their parents at home, at least since they became teenagers. And they really had it tough and rough with them. This means they are still hurting. See what you can do to address their emotional state before sending them to the examination hall. An emotionally disturbed student cannot perform very well in an exam.🤗
6. Don't be surprised that some of them were not prepared to come back to school when they were compelled to do so. They still had some movie series to watch or some other runs to complete. You know what this means? It simply means they will not regret being sent home for just any reason. Discipline them within the scope the school allows you, but don't even bother sending them home - unless you know that WAEC has been cancelled.😂
