Happy New week

The JSS 3 students of Christ Grammar School, Saki 2025/2026 set, recently carried out an exciting Home Economics practical where they demonstrated their skills in preparing of Chin-Chin Under the careful supervision and control of their teacher, Mrs Akanbi, the students were guided through each step of the process, from measuring ingredients to proper mixing and baking techniques.
The practical session was both educational and enjoyable, as students worked in groups to produce chin-chin, Emphasis was placed on hygiene, safety, and accurate measurement to ensure quality results.

Mrs Akanbi provided clear instructions and monitored their progress, correcting mistakes and encouraging teamwork. The practical helped to improve their confidence, creativity, and understanding of food preparation, making it a valuable and memorable learning experience.

Modesty is the quality of having a moderate, humble view of oneself and acting with decency in behavior, speech, and dress. It involves avoiding vanity, boastfulness, and excessive attention-seeking, often stemming from humility. It also represents a respectful, reserved approach to presentation, ensuring propriety.
Students conveyed the message to be modest as modesty is the quality of being free from vanity. It teaches us to be humble and decent in our speech, behaviours and action. Assembly was followed by question round to make the audience understand the theme better.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, responsibility, and excellence at Christ Grammar School, Saki.

Congratulations to our newly inaugurated 2026/2027 Prefects as they step forward to lead with integrity, courage, and purpose. ✨🎓
