INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF STAFF OF VALUE CHAIN PROGRAMME IN NORTHERN NIGERIA (VCN).

Qualified and experienced officers are required to fill the following positions in the VCN National Programme Coordination Office (NPCO) to serve as;

i. National Programme Coordinator (NPC)

iii. Agricultural Production Specialist (APS)

iv. Rural Infrastructure Engineer Specialist (RIES)

v. Food and Nutrition Specialist (FNS)

vi. ICT4D Support Specialist (ICT4D)

vii. Gender Inclusion/Social Safeguards Specialist (GIS)

viii. Rural Institutions Development Specialist (REDS)

ix. Climate Change and Environment Safeguards Specialist (CES)

x. Knowledge Management and Communication Specialist

Submission of Expression of Interest (EOI)
The Expression of Interest applications are to be submitted in ten (10) copies, including one original and nine (9) photocopies, properly sealed and clearly marked at the top right-hand cover “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF NATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT UNDER THE FGN/IFAD/AFD-VCN PROJECT.”
Each envelope should include a CV and an application letter with a cover letter suited for the position being applied for. The sealed envelope should be addressed and delivered to:

• Contribute: Members may participate in mentorship, develop educational resources, engage in science policy activities, draft policy-facing concept notes, join short-term working groups, and help develop new SFD programs and initiatives. Members will also help identify priorities and shape what the community works on.

• Connect with Opportunities: SFD is developing relationships with recruiters, universities, research institutions, and other partners to connect qualified members with relevant job, research placement, and professional opportunities.

• Who We Are Looking for: We are particularly interested in early- and mid-career researchers and professionals. The community is open to individuals with a master’s degree or higher, as well as professionals with at least five years of relevant experience in STEM, science policy, education, or a related field.
