Based on our research and direct engagement with UTME candidates, experienced JAMB trainers, and education experts, we discovered that most candidates do not fail because they are not intelligent, but because they lack proper exam orientation, effective study strategies, quality resources, and consistent mentorship.

Many students put in genuine effort but prepare without fully understanding JAMB requirements, exam patterns, CBT techniques, and time management strategies. Others study in isolation, without expert guidance to correct mistakes early.

To bridge this gap, TechSkill Progressive Ltd is launching the
𝐔𝐓𝐌𝐄–𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐁 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, a focused, practical, and results-driven training designed for 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥-𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬.

In 2021, I applied for the fully funded AIMS Master’s program, and I was not shortlisted.

Not because I wasn’t capable, but because 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲.
I gave the application little attention, little preparation, and little passion.

𝐈𝐧 2023, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝.
I returned with clarity, commitment, and purpose. I spent days engaging with friends who were already at AIMS, asking the right questions, understanding what African Institute for Mathematical Sciences - AIMS truly looks for, and preparing intentionally.

I applied again.
👉 This time, I was shortlisted at AIMS Senegal
👉 And I began the AIMS Master’s journey.

After that, the calls started.
“Please help me apply.”
“Can you send me answers?”
“Can you apply for me?”
"ABCD, F?"

Most of these questions revealed one thing: 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐒, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭.

AIMS is not about luck or shortcuts; it requires preparation, passion, and clarity of purpose.

That’s why this year, my friends and I decided to act.
We are 6 AIMS alumni, all from the same undergraduate set ( YOBE STATE UNIVERSITY (YSU)... Class of 2021), from different AIMS centers. Together, we’re hosting a mentorship session to guide serious and prepared candidates through the entire AIMS application and interview process.

In this mentorship, we will:
➤ Share our real application journeys
➤ Break down what AIMS truly looks for
➤ Guide applicants step-by-step
➤ Offer insights from multiple AIMS centres

This is not about applying blindly.
This is about applying prepared.
