Let me share something very interesting with you people. 😉
We have a child who has been with us for some months now. From the beginning, this child would not talk, would not answer questions, would not even try.
You ask, “what is number one?” and you will just get a calm face looking at you like “Aunty please rest” 😄
Ah! It was not funny for me o. It really disturbed my mind. I started asking myself, am I really doing this work well? Because we tried everything.
Play method, demonstration, role play. We were doing the most. Still, nothing. Just quietness.
Then something beautiful happened
As we are about to round up the term, this same child just changed. Like magic but not magic.
Growth.✅
Now you ask “how are you?” and you hear “I’m fine”
You say “wave your hand” and she waves like a happy baby
We brought out flashcards one to three and she identified them
She even pointed at pictures in her textbook correctly
I just stood there smiling. All my worry disappeared
This is a reminder that every child learns at their own time. Some children are just watching, observing, taking everything in quietly. Then one day, boom, they show you everything at once
This one gave me small heart attack before bringing me joy 😄
This is what learning should be.

This morning, our babies had so much fun acting the story of Daniel in the lions’ den.
Daniel was put inside the den, and our little “lions” walked around him like real guards. But guess what? Daniel was not afraid. He knelt and prayed to God.
And the lions did not eat him.
Why? Because God was with Daniel.
Our children learned that when we trust God, He stays with us and keeps us safe. And yes, our lions were very gentle and friendly today. 😊
