One of my Interns at the Coca-Cola Youth Mentor Programme was a mathematician and taught mathematics at a private school on a N35,000 salary.

Mathematics.. I mean maths, the subject a lot of parents cannot teach, do not have the patience to teach, the one many students fail at. No darling, your competence is a multi-million industry.

What did we do?
We created a pathway to establish a flourishing math tutor business with flexibility and graded in different packages to suit different economic households.

Every institution absolutely requires a model and process for sustainability.

That you buy a product for N50 and sell at N180, repeating the cycle without implementing a model is the reason why the business folds up when your neighbor discovers where you buy your cheap products from and beats you to sales by offering N100 to your customers.

You fall in love, write down the names and universities your unborn children will attend, plan a honeymoon, throw a wedding party you cannot afford and when you "finally" enter, after your church thanksgiving of course, you realize e-get-as-e-be because what love really needs to thrive is a structure and systems.
Love is NEVER enough.

We are currently having a conversation with someone who asked why we referred to Stephanie Linus as Nigeria's most under celebrated Hero.

Many persons know her only as the Vintage screen goddess and most recently, movie director ..

Stephanie Linus every year, through her foundation, EXTENDED HANDS FOUNDATION, offers free repair surgeries for women suffering from VVF, a post childbirth complication with its highest ratio in Northern Nigeria.

Most of the populace do not know this because she happens to be one who is more concerned about objectivity and results than publicity.
On her list of partnership and sponsors are the UN, NNPC, ECOWAS, SNFPH as thus, she channels her report to those bodies while concentrating on the women/girls who need her energy and time.

Her contribution to international policies and its application/implication to women living in Nigeria is commendable and ought to be replicated.
