Unscrupulously, out of 138 names approved by the Local Government for bursary payment in UNIUYO,Geniune Students were not more than 67,Ghost names and names of friends from other L.G.A became beneficiaries of the L.G. bursary and Bonafide students of Mkpat Enin origin are still crying for not seeing their names in the list. When the remnant met him for their money he claimed that he use the students money for carrier counseling in two secondary(2 )secondary schools and also use it in giving awards to politicians. The truest Wisdom is a resolute determination. The executive chairman of Mkpat Enin LGA, Hon. Ephraim Akpan in his magnanimity has commenced the payment of bursary to students in tertiary institutions. All NAMESITES are expected to get in touch with their respective chapter presidents as dates for each institution will be communicated to the president for effective participation in the exercise.Students are expected to appear with original document proof of studentship on the dates assign to each institution. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MKPAT ENIN STUDENTS(NAMES WORLDWIDE) COMMENCES FREE ICT TRAINING PROGRAM FOR MKPAT ENIN STUDENTS
NAMES WORLDWIDE commences free computer/ICT training for all students and young secondary school leavers in mkpat Enin LGA. The program will expose and educate the participants to the untapped wealth in professional ICT.
The programs to study include:
Accounting software(Peachtree Accounting) for Accounting students,
SPSS(statistical package for social science) for social science students
AutoCAD 3d,2d for Engineering students,
Desktop Application/graphics design and
Ms Office suite. For young school leavers
Participation forms are available for free
at the office of the supervisor for education, Mkpat Enin L.G.A council secretariat,and
Lectures and practical session will be held at RCC integrated ICT development center Ikot Akpaden.
N/b students in tertiary institution can also pick the forms from their respective chapter presidents.
The president of NAMES worldwide Comrade Usenobong Ekponyoh in an interview with AKBC press, said the program is going to use the finest tools and quality ICT professionals from accredited ICT institutions who are going to use an easy to absorb teaching technique to impart on the participants to enable them think critically and analytically towards entrepreneurship and self reliance which is the only way to be successful in this present economy.
Comrade Ekponyoh said the program is inline with Operation Zero Percent Illiteracy tolerance mandate by the students community in 2014.The Director of Information, NAMES WORLDWIDE, comrade Itoro Ekpo-Udo said the program is purposeful and result oriented and such more centres will be made available in remote/interior villages for effective participation. He also said the program will advance to a career counselling tour to all secondary schools in Mkpat Enin LGA on resumption of schools. He also appeal to well meaning individuals fro the LGA to support the effort as this will bring a positive result to a community.
