One major skill that I love about reading that is truly essential and I want to encourage everyone on this platform as a student is that you have to become a critical thinker.
Critical thinking is your ability to evaluate the information you are interacting with, identify biases and begin to distinguish between facts and opinion.
I know that a lot of people are not deliberate about this.
This is my encouragement to you.
Every author has their own biases. And the earlier you start realizing that, the better.
And the earlier you are also able to understand how to navigate these biases and opinions so that you are able to come up with refined thoughts that would align with where you are headed is the most important.
Have a lovely read ahead.
To enhance memory function, try setting a specific goal the next time you plan to read.
