"BASH" vs "BASH"

June 12, 1993, exactly 31 years ago, Nigerians voted in the widely acknowledged freest and fairest election. They tried to determine which "BASH" they would prefer to be their president between BASHorun MKO Abiola and BASHir Tofa. Which city were you in that day and what spectacular thing do you remember? Let's go down memory lane... I was in Lagos.

God has a way of clearing dirts from your life … like cleaning your phone of “junk”. So don’t hurt when some ‘good’ people start misbehaving. It’s a signal their time has expired or they aren’t part of your great future

Anyone who desires to excel in business, career, or ministry must avoid a deadly mistake of making enemies out of friends or friends out of enemies. Both have potential to hurt you and speedily annihilate your vision

If you focus on the people you ‘think’ you’re better than, your value will depreciate rapidly. When you focus on those you ‘know’ are far better than you, your thirst for growth will increase slowly but steadily.

I hear “God’s General” as describing some Men of God. Please, help me: who are God’s Brigadier? God’s Lieutenant? God’s Captain? God’s Recruit? God’s Lance Corporal? God’s Sergeant? … just asking.

We seem to be facing an uncomfortable time that demands sensible living and presence of mind. It will be painful to lose money carelessly. Here are some ways to protect your money from swindlers and Scammers:

1. When you buy anything with your card in a supermarket, mall, or anywhere, look at the amount before you input your pin into the POST Machine. I almost got swindled of 10K a few days ago. Thank God I was alert and confronted the cashier why the extra 10K? She said it was an error, seriously!

Please, be vigilant, Yours could be 2K or 5K. But you can imagine if she makes such errors with 1000 people in a month how much that will be.

2. I stopped at a gas station to put some fuel in my car. The attendant asked how much, I said fill up the tank (I usually try to fill the tank once I use 1/4 because of the unpredictable nature of availability of fuel from time to time and I don’t like to be caught off guard). That amount should be just about 20K.

Here’re my observations: first the attendant didn’t want to wipe the previous bill on the meter which the previous customer had paid. He wanted to transfer that cost to me again (you know what that means). When I caught him, he apologized and said he forgot, really? He wiped it off and started with my car.

He stopped when it was 5K and I asked why? He said he thought I said 5K. I said I didn’t mention a figure I said “fill up”. Then he continued. The tank and its reserve gulped N20,300. I gave him my card to charge.

To my amazement, I saw 25,300 when I was about to put my pin. Then I asked why the extra 5K? He said he had put in 5K earlier before I asked him to fill up the tank. So I said but you didn’t wipe the meter, you simply continued. Guess what: when he realized I punctured his deceptive maneuver, he said he forgot.

He reluctantly collected the POS Machine and entered correct amount (N20,300). Imagine if he does that to 1000 people in a month. He would have made a whooping 5M.

3. At another gas station last week, the attendant after putting fuel in my car, decided to add 5K to the charge on my card. I detected it, pointed her to the meter, and asked why the extra charge, I was shocked when she said, “Oga you no go do weekend for me”? It’s my transport if you want me to come and see you. I was livid.
I do not know her from Adam. I’ve never seen her before!! My spirit was broken a million times to see how low we’ve sunk!

What!!! She doesn’t know me! She doesn’t know what I do!! She doesn’t know where I live, … but she awarded herself 5K. I shouted to come and do what, you’re a thief!

She said, “Oga no shout please, na market”. She quickly took the POS machine, input the correct amount, I entered my pin, and paid the right amount!!! I don’t go there anymore!!!

4. A cashier in a supermarket intentionally allowed three 1K notes slip off her hand to the floor while counting the money handed down to her by a customer and c claimed that the money was 3K short. The customer was about giving her the 3K when another person watching called her attention to the antics of the cashier.

Behold, the 3K was on the floor. She reluctantly picked them up and said she didn’t know when it fell while she was counting. Seriously??? Just imagine how much she rakes home every day from unsuspecting customers?

5. One of our wonderful staff at iLeadafrica Leadership Academy has responsibility for creating “Excellent Customer Experiences” and she does greatly at it. She takes care of refreshment of our clients.

She placed an order for their sumptuous lunch (you need to experience it 🍔🥗🌭🌮🌯🥗🍟🍗🍖). When it was time to pick up and pay, she discovered the bill was unreasonabe. Upon checking the order with the cashier, yes she was outrageously over-billed. Thank God for her vigilance. The Academy would have been robbed in broad daylight!

BE WARNED!!!
It is obvious that some people are getting demonic, satanic, and crooked inspirations from the pit of hell just to impoverish others. This is an unfair and terrible means of treating other people.

Please, if you work hard and honestly for your income, you can’t allow some unscrupulous individuals to exploit you and filter away your hard earned resources. I share this to help other people from falling victim to these antics!

I do not know what areas you’re losing money. If you know some other ways these dubious people are milking our resources, please share. Let’s protect what God gives to us from heartless thieves and corporate robbers!

Those who passionately desire changes in their status and situations do not leverage “wishing”. No! They decisively get up, change their lifestyles, and do something purposeful until their new version evolves
