PUBLIC INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT

The Rivers State Ministry of Education wishes to announce to the general public that Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will commence from Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 11th July 2024 in the state.

All public and private Schools operating in the state are by this announcement expected to prepare their students for the examination.

The Examination has been paid for by the state government and as such any principal or teacher caught extorting money from any student will be dealt with accordingly.

Should the Examination timetable coincide with any public holiday, the Examination will still hold within the scheduled dates.
