Dear Esteemed Parents,

We joyfully concluded our Christmas Carol today, a beautiful time of worship, laughter, and celebration with our wonderful students. Their smiles and voices truly reminded us of the light of Christ shining in them!

As we close for the holidays, we want to say thank you for your unwavering support throughout this term. Your children have made us proud, and we are grateful for the privilege of nurturing their growth academically, spiritually, and morally.

We officially begin our vacation today and look forward to welcoming our precious children back on Monday, January 5th, 2026, stronger, brighter, and ready for greater achievements.

May this festive season fill your homes with peace, joy, and God’s abundant blessings.

Old school day.

I want to kindly appeal to parents to be mindful of the kind of information and conversations we expose our children to. Children are very impressionable, and when they are introduced too early to sensitive or mature topics, it can shape their thinking in ways we may never intend.

There are certain subjects that appear in some textbooks such as discussions about sexual orientation (gay and le***an topics), in**st (relatives engaging in inappropriate relationships), and other mature content. I have instructed our teachers to avoid these topics for now because our pupils are still too young to process such information in a healthy and responsible way. Unfortunately, some children still encounter these topics at home, online, or through media.

Some radio programs like the “Tori-Wowowo” segment or certain discussions on Family Love FM, contain adult themes that are not suitable for young listeners. Even as adults, many of us find some of these conversations uncomfortable. When children are exposed to mature subjects prematurely, their minds may begin to dwell on things that are beyond their level of understanding.

The mind is powerful: whatever enters it tends to grow, whether positive or negative. This is why we must be intentional about what our children watch, hear, and learn. Curiosity is natural, when you tell a child not to open a particular door, that alone can spark interest and may want to do it. Only a few will resist that curiosity. Our role as parents and educators is to guide them in the right direction.

Let us work together to protect their innocence, nurture clean and healthy minds, and teach them good values as well as how to avoid negative influences.

For now, I have instructed our teachers to leave out sex-education and related sensitive topics. Parents who feel the need can introduce these discussions at home in a way they consider appropriate for their child’s level of maturity.
