LESSON FOR THE DAY:
Have you sat down to study the book of the preacher, I mean the book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 vs 1-8. If you haven’t done that, then read this carefully and think about it deeply
A Wrist watch for #500, 000:00, Will it show me when the world will end?
A Bathing soap for #80, 000:00, Will it wash away my tribulations, sins and sorrows?
One Eye glasses for #350, 000:00, If I wear it, will I be able to see the future?
An Italian shoe for #250, 000:00, Will I be able to walk on water?
A Plasma TV for #500, 000:00, Will it show me the Judgement day on the last day live?
A Gold plated mobile phone for #3 million. Chai!!! Will I use it to call God or answer heaven's call?
A Hand Bag for #1.3Million, Will I put my life inside it?
#2 million for a table for 10 in comedy show. Which kind laugh I never laugh before?
#3 Million per year at a university. After graduation, will they make me the president?
Sometimes, I wonder why some people spend like craze, knowing fully well that there are hungry children in the streets roaming about naked.
1. The smallest act of kindness you show can change someone's life.
2. Remember, money only brings happiness if you help people with it.
3. Let someone say to you, BECAUSE OF YOU I DIDN'T GIVE UP!!!
When God blesses you financially, don't just raise your STANDARD OF LIVING, also raise your STANDARD OF GIVING.
I just sat down to think about this now and yet you are out there pursuing same. If you feel so too, share the post or repost it.
I remain in His vineyard,
Prophet (Dr.) Timothy O. AbiyeADENEYE

God Wants You to Succeed
God designed you for success. He made you to be a winner. This is true for every person, regardless of what has happened in the past. God has never destined anybody to live a mediocre life.
Jeremiah 29:11 says,
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
This verse says that God knows His thoughts toward you, and His desire is to give you an expected end. That end is promised in the Word of God. You can walk in victory like Moses. He was 120 years old, and his eyesight wasn’t dim nor his natural force abated (Deut. 34:7). He actually climbed a mountain the day he went home to be with the Lord.
These things are in the Word, and God is no respecter of persons. What we have today is superior to what Moses had in the Old Testament. We can be guaranteed success. Now, I’m not saying success can always be achieved without a fight or without effort, but we were destined for great things.
God created every one of us to be something special, but I also feel that we live in a culture that has totally misrepresented true success. As a matter of fact, I looked up the meaning of the word. The American Heritage Dictionary (AHD) defines success as “The achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted.” That’s a pretty broad definition. I mean, some people are aiming at nothing and hitting it every time. The second definition I found is “The gaining of fame or prosperity” (AHD). I hate that definition. That is not a godly definition of success at all. Lots of people have fame and prosperity, but they do not have true success.
In my opinion, success needs to be redefined. It’s not just doing something grand or big. In fact, not everybody is called to do something big. I try to get this across to our staff all the time. We have 300 people on staff here in the U.S. alone, and if it wasn’t for every one of them, we couldn’t do what we’re called to do. They may never be the one in front of the camera, but they are still a big part of what we’re doing. We really count on and appreciate those who keep our facility clean and looking good. And without the individuals who keep the roads plowed and sanded in the winter, we would be in trouble. We need all of these people to help us be good stewards of what God has given us. Their jobs may not seem as significant as others, but they are being faithful in what God has called them to do. That’s what I call a success. Those who are faithful in a few things will also be faithful in much.
Matthew 25:23 says,
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
If we are good stewards of what God gives us, He’ll increase us and give us more. The way that success has been presented is not a godly concept at all. I want to encourage anyone who feels like they haven’t done much: God’s got something more for you, and you can succeed. Your faithfulness will be rewarded. And for those of you who think you’re awesome, I hope I can help you recognize that success is not based on all of these temporary things that will pass away. God judges things differently than we do.
First Samuel 16:7 says,
For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
Many people look amazing on the outside, but in their hearts, they’re miserable—they don’t have joy or peace and certainly don’t have success. Understand this: There is nothing in this world that will minister to you or satisfy you more than knowing that you are in the direct center of God’s will.
Many of you reading this can’t say for sure that you know you’re doing what God has called you to do. You may love God and want Him to use you and bless you, but you don’t know for certain that you’re where you’re supposed to be. This is one of the reasons people aren’t happy and satisfied. In some cases, I believe God has given certain people a holy dissatisfaction. He’s trying to stir them up. This is one of the ways God motivates you and lets you know that there’s something more.
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. [11] For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [13] Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
1 Corinthians 3:10-13
This is describing that as we go through life, we are either building with gold, silver, and precious stones or with wood, hay, and stubble. It does not say that everybody is building with gold, silver, and precious stones or that everybody is building with wood, hay, and stubble. We have a choice. The sad fact is that many of us build things in our lives and accomplish things that aren’t what God intended for us. And we count these things as a success. But one day, we’re going to stand before the Lord, and He is going to put a fire to everything. It says in Matthew 12:36 that we’ll give an account of every idle word that we speak. So, God will hold us responsible for every action and for every word that comes out of our mouths. Anything of wood, hay, or stubble—even if it looks good to man and conforms to the world’s standard of success—is a work of the flesh and will count for nothing.
A lot of people think wood, hay, and stubble are referring to adultery, fornication, and drug addiction. But did you know that people have done things that would appear to be godly—started churches, been in a foreign mission field, and written worship music—but none of it was led by God? For instance, my good friend Arthur Meintjes recently shared with me on an episode of The Inside Story that he once pastored a church and later realized he was doing it in his own strength. His life became so difficult that he was ready to take his own life. That’s when God taught him grace and really turned his life around.
It doesn’t matter whether the end result is good or not. God wants you to do what He has called you to do, and He wants you to do it out of His ability. I think what some call burnout is just people doing good things in their own strength and power. God’s never had anybody qualified working for Him yet, so stop relying on your own ability. If you don’t trust in the Lord, you can’t accomplish the things He’s planned for you and you won’t be a godly success.
BASIC FACTS TO ACCOMPLISHING IN LIFE.
Sometimes, to succeed in life you need ENEMIES.... Yes!!!
You need people who will mock you, so that you can run to God.
You need people who will try to intimidate you, so that you can be courageous.
You need people who will say "NO" so that you can learn how to be independent... I mean how to do it yourself. You need people who will disappoint you so that you can put all your trust in God alone. You need people who will work towards you loosing that job, so that you can start your own big business. You need people who will sell you like "Joseph" so that 'you' can get to Egypt and be a Prime Minister in a strange land of captivity. You need a cruel landlord, so that you won't be too comfortable in someone else's house, So you can remember to start building your own house on time. But sometimes, when we are disappointed, we feel very bad and we tend to remain on that spot. Not knowing that the end-point of disappointment is the beginning of your accomplishments. Understand this, "that every disappointment you once had came with a blessing!" However, it is not everyone that partakes in this blessing that I'm talking about. You cannot see a new OPEN door while you are still putting all your attention, time and energy in trying to force the closed one to open. And again I say, "No disappointment can ever come without an attached blessing!" So, when the disappointment come, thank God for it and tell "HIM" to open your eyes to see the new blessing that HE has for you! Disappointment is PHASE 1 while accomplishment is PHASE 2. I doubt if one can jump the protocols. That is why it is called "BREAKTHROUGH" Something must BREAK so that you can go THROUGH!
In life, breakthrough is certain. Make your inpact in it for breakthrough to be achieved. Peace
God’s Great Grace
The word “grace” (chen in Hebrew) is closely connected with the idea of “favor.” That connection is still seen in modern Hebrew. When Israelis speak of “finding favor” with another person, the expression “matza chen“ is still used. These are the identical Hebrew words used of Noah in Genesis 6:8: “But Noah found favor [grace] in the eyes of the LORD….” This happens to be the first occasion that the word “grace” is used in scripture. Although Noah was a righteous man, the favor or grace of God was still unmerited. God’s grace is always unmerited.
We find numerous examples of unmerited grace in scripture. Many people found grace although they had terrible problems in their lives. Think of the sons of Jacob. Judah, leader of the tribes, sinned horribly with his own betrothed daughter in law, thinking she was but a pr******te (Gen. 38:1-30). Still, we can certainly say that Judah found grace in God’s eyes. His tribe later brought forth the Messiah. Then there was Levi, that one who was to bring forth the priesthood in Israel, and who was to be the progenitor of the great Moses. Levi killed men in his anger and was therefore scattered in Israel (Gen. 49:6-7). Yet he found grace in the eyes of the Lord and was later given responsibility for the priesthood and the Tabernacle. Then of course there was the great David who committed adultery and murder. He still found favor with God and was given an eternal messianic kingdom.
The inescapable conclusion before us is that grace is for sinners. We also must never think we deserve anything that the Lord has done for us. His favor or grace is totally unmerited. God says in Exodus 33:19: “…I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
GRACE, A PART OF GOD’S PERSONALITY
Grace is part of God’s personality and nature. It is even a part of his name. In Exodus 34:6-7, the Lord made a personal appearance to Moses and proclaimed his great name. Here is what he said: “…The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin…” Yes, part of God’s very name is “gracious.”
The Bible is full of God’s gracious acts, flowing forth from his name. He delivered Israel from Egypt and gave them the Promised Land, but not because of their own goodness (Deut. 9:5-60). It was solely an act of God’s grace.
It was God’s gracious act to later restore the nation of Israel after they had been sold into Babylonian captivity for seventy years.
GRACE IS SUPREMELY REVEALED IN JESUS
Of course, the supreme act of God’s grace was to give his Son, Jesus for our redemption.
In the Old Testament we have man seeking to find grace, but in the New Testament we have grace seeking to find man. That grace is revealed in Jesus Christ, who is in search of fallen man. That grace has now come into our world to bring salvation to us. John says of him: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (Jn. 1:14). Indeed, a few verses later John says of him: “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Thus we see that Jesus was and is the very embodiment of God’s grace. In Titus 2:11, Jesus is even referred to as “the Grace of God.”
Grace was a word often on the tongues of the earliest Christians. The word was regularly used as a greeting and a salutation in many New Testament epistles. It seems that these early Christians simply could not get over the wonderful grace of God that was so freely given to them in the Messiah. They were totally immersed in God’s grace.
GRACE IS INDISPENSABLE TO SALVATION
In the last analysis, salvation is a gift of grace. In Ephesians 2:8-9 we read: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” We must realize that our salvation only comes because God is gracious to us. It never comes because of our worthiness or because of our works.
So to put it simply, we are all sinners, naturally lost and cut off from God (Rom. 3:23). God loved us anyway and had mercy and compassion on us. Because of his great grace he decided to send his Son. His Son, Jesus, came to live in this wretched and fallen world. In the end, he offered up his life on the cross and shed his blood as a sacrifice in order to procure our salvation. By believing on him and his perfect sacrifice, we can now be saved from our sins and from ourselves. That well-known verse in John 3:16 says it all: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” This is perhaps the purest and clearest picture of grace in the whole Bible.
We see in scripture that grace not only initiates salvation but grace sustains it. We cannot be Christians in our own strength and by our own wisdom. In Acts 20:32 Paul says to the church: “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
As a part of his great saving program the Lord also sends us his Holy Spirit to live within us. This is another of those free gifts, not based on our own works or worthiness. We see in Hebrews 10:29 that even the Lord’s Holy Spirit is called “the Spirit of grace.”
So grace is a free and wonderful gift from heaven, available to all people. It is available regardless of the sins a person may have committed. But we see in scripture that grace must be accompanied by faith. In other words we must believe and accept that which God has given. God is so gracious he will even help us to believe.
