We realized an unbearable rumour that has been sprouting rampantly on Campus this period, about high price of school fees and convocation payments.

We, therefore, write to notify the general public that the fake news spreading around in the university environment has no validity.

Therefore the entire student community of IAUE is encouraged to remain calm and advised to disregard any information with such content as it is false and not valid.

Students find it very interesting to sell out negative information and unverified news about our university, thereby giving us a bad reputation in the eyes of the general public.

Note: The Campus is not a place for false transmission of information rather it is a legal cottage for proper study.

Therefore, students are warned against this wrong practice.

With a heart full of Joy, the leadership of the Students Union Government ably led by High Comr. Igonikon Onengiyeofori Amaye wishes the entire students of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education a happy new month as we appreciate God almighty for bringing us into this new month.

_NOTICE ON GENERAL STUDIES EXAMINATION_

Sequel to the ongoing General Studies Examination, the Students union government after receiving complaints from the various student who were unable to write the examination due to one reason or the other, the SUG President Comr. Igonikon Onengiyeofori Amaye led a strong delegation with his exco's to meet with some principal officers to plead with the Vice-chancellor for reform in the General Studies Unit. They all promise to extend the request/complaint made by the student leader to the Vice-Chancellor who is always having listening ears for students.

On this note, the SUG is urging all students to calm down and anticipate a fruitful outcome from the university management as the Students Union Government is working tirelessly in making sure that our requests are met.

Press Release

The Students Union Government in a swift move of quality representation, yesterday visited the Director of business and Investment Prof.Nyekachi Amadi concerning the sudden change in price from the food vendors in the university.

After due deliberations concerning the high price, the meeting ended on a positive note as the Director of Business and Investment assured the Students Union Government that all necessary and immediate actions will be taken to see that favorable measures are put in place to reduce the sudden price change.

We hereby promise the student Community that in no distant time, the cost of the price will normalize to its original state.

We urge the students not to relent in channeling their complaints to the SUG as all issues will be duly considered without hesitation.
